The ole boy had one heckuva a motor! I think he just got "out handled ". He def looked like he had the strongest "pull" off the bottom but handling was off. Imagine he was hooked uo all the way around the track! Would've been untouchable! Great race!
Looked like a 31, to me. Also, it looks, to me, like Mr. Smyth was asking, why is there "no" #21 Billy Moyer. . Not, who is driving the "Number" 21 Car, but, i could be wrong. Either way; i hope Mr. Moyer makes the next race, if he is not retired, yet. As for Tom Sprague, Junior.....His Father "Howard Thomas Edison Sprague, Senior" was quite the memorable Character, on The Andy Griffith Show. He drove a Thunderbird, maybe. A Ford something. Car.
Yep- I did see where he raced with the Lucas oil- Folks so maybe he had different priorities'- he's always been an ass kicker on this tour for Many years- mr smoooooth
Thunderbird Raceway is where Moyer won his 100th. Hell Tour Race, last year and Brian Shirley's Engine let out the biggest Skeeter Fogger i ever saw. He might have won, otherwise. Racing On Dirt was kind enough to upload that race, also, in case you did not know and.or in case you give a darn.
FLAT-ASS tracks with no BANKING on Glass surfaces what kind of dirt racing is that! If I wanted to watch FLAT racing on a Slick surface I'll watch NASCAR!!
Garbage Surface? That's Real Dirt racing not like the Majority of Tracks whose surface either looks like GLASS or BLACKTOP! Like those IDIOT'S who RACE Lucas OIL!! What a bunch of jokes! Don't see them on a track like that 1! Why because they COULDN'T WIN!!
Actually it’s because they don’t wanna spend unnecessary amounts of money on busted shocks, j bars, axle tubes, a frames, springs, the list could go on. Why put 100k dollar race cars on a track surface that looks like it was prepared by a crackhead?? Coming from someone that actually has to work on race cars and has seen up close and personal just how much damage a bad surface can do. So unless you’re the one shelling out the dollars, you don’t really get to have an opinion on what’s racing and what’s not. Keep ya mouth shut and sit your ass down in the bleachers along with the rest of the grandstand crew chiefs.
