I can describe 7-11 in one word: Thailand. A few years ago, when I went to Thailand, I saw that there is 7-11 in almost every corner, particularly in Bangkok. It was also even highlighted in one Thai movie called "The Billionaire" (based on the life of the owner of the Tao Kae Noi seaweed snacks). That was about 5-6 years ago so I can't say if it's still the case today. Gosh, I miss Thailand.
if there is an option for good cooked food near your place, cos of i wont buy food from 7-11 or Cheers but if you work at a place with only 1 canteen and they serve food worse than 7-11 or Cheers, your choice is (1) eat the lousy food at the only canteen which charges $4.50 or $5, (2) order delivery but expensive fee of adding $3 more, (3) buy from 7-11 and Cheers and heat up in microwave..which also cost $4.50 or so..same as option 1.
the cafeteria near my work place is really bad.. and i rate their food against the 7-11 or Cheers's instant foods like those of "Tasty Bites" and "Chef in a Box" my verdict is IF ANY CAFETERIA or Canteen has food that is WORSE then a Instant food from 7-11 or Cheers ..heated up.. than its really CMI. so to me, instant foods is the "PASSING Mark" that you have to Win, to be called a good canteen.. because if your cooking cannot win a pre-cooked instant food..than you probably shouldnt be charging ppl for your food.
there is something i cannot understand... when ppl review "instant foods" or "fast foods" or "convenice foods" the thing i dun understand is they try to comment.. "its unhealthy" its like saying you go to a rural country side and saying "the wifi not good"? Instant foods, fast foods etc are "Comfort foods" or junk foods, its not something you eat for "healthy diets" so of cos its unhealthy.. i feel just rate the food based on TASTE and TASTE alone..if its nice . eat it.. if not .. dun.. it doesnt matter if its 1000 calories or 100..
am i the only one who thinks this vid was filmed a little weird? like the lighting is darker than usual and it feels like they’re so close to the camera
The poverty 'joke' was unnecessary Mandon. Here you are having the luxury of eating proper food and doing taste test. You don't know what true poverty is.
