7-27-2022 - Severe Thunderstorm With 60+mph Wind, Medium Lightning And Flooding Rain!

This storm started off kinda calm but then it ramped up to become pretty crazy pretty quickly! My location got put in a Severe Thunderstorm Warning so I went ahead and put my camera outside. There wasn't much lightning with this storm but the wind was very powerful! If I remember correctly there was some possible rotation with this storm. As you watch, check out how the rain blows around and actually rotates under and around the street-light! I didn't notice all of this until I edited this video yesterday! Nice wind gusts. I like when the wind gets strong enough to make that creepy, scream-like whistle. It's even better when it happens at night. Out of curiosity, do you remember about what time did this storm come through your area? It's videos like these that keep me from going crazy during the chilly months. We're only halfway through autumn and I'm already yearning for spring and summer storms.

Yes! I love when it's creepy on a warm night with the wind blowing and the trees getting loud and stuff like that! I don't remember what time it was when this storm came through. I love editing these videos, cause most of the time I have no clue what I recorded until I get the video on the computer and edit it, it's always a surprise! I'll be posting more storms soon! I'm catching up right now on all of my old storms because this time of the year is pretty boring weather in my location. Thank you for watching!
