@@yourdailyhelp247 if they do the cost to haul freight will be unprofitable walmart had some liquid propane peterbilt they got 2 mpg they had a electric Pete for approximately every 1,000 miles it put it would spend atleast a week in. The shop broken so myself I dont see a alternative any time soon I drove for Walmart 22 years and they had all kinds of test programs going on and they always cost more and failed
@@yourdailyhelp247 I know but they would be better off rubbing a magic lamp from what I've seen even the self driving trucks the computers freeze up alot but they dont mention that
@@whiterosemotors9026 ewer diesels aren't as reliable as the older ones I never spent time on a tow truck in a older diesel.the newer one 3 times on a tow truck because sensor's going out.
My dad has a 1995 f350 powerstroke crew can dually with a western hauler conversion including flatbed with a set of poles and a winch. He paid like 8k for it a year ago and it’s in very good condition and the seats have had covers on it for its entire life
That truck has all the good stuff, and the luxury stuff. Without all the darn gizmos. If built today that truck would be $90k and have $10k worth of useless electronic add ons.
@@bricecine is this Waldoch Package something that Ford offered from factory? or where/how do you get this packet? I am looking to buy one that has it and have been looking for days now with no luck!
I have the new powerstroke but I miss that old reliable sounding diesel. These new ones sound like gassers with ticking lifters. (Or a old typewriter) I don’t know why The big three are so concerned with sound control on these diesels. It’s a diesel truck it should sound like it.
I bought one like that in 1997, brand new for 31,500. it was my second choice because Dodge didn’t make a crew cab back than. The Cummins is twice the engine in my opinion.
@@DA-mp1so MINE IS NOT FORSALE SINCE I LOVE THE OLD TRUCK FORD MADE IN 1997 F350 7.3L WITH DOUBLE WHEELS IN REAR, AND A CUSTUM HITCH FOR PULLING ALL KINDS OF STUFF AND 12 FT. DUMP BED, WITH HEADACHE RACK. GREAT FOR SMALL LOADS
These OBS prices are insane. By all means, sell it for the maximum you can. This must mean my '04 F-350 CC/LB PSD 6-Speed 4x4 is worth $40-$55k with 110k miles on her.
Not even in a dream your gonna get that kind of money for a 04 ford f350 diesel. Nobody wants those trucks, all the fords with the 6.0 engines are yunk engines. That's the worse diesel engine you can get in a truck.
@@antonioquintero9944 actually, the 6.4L Powerstroke is the worst. It was the final straw that broke 💔 the marriage between Ford and Navistar/International. The 6.4L has a far worse record of catastrophic failure than the 6.0L. You sound like a person whose owned neither, yet you're deadset in your opinion because you heard someone say it. Regardless, my post was making fun of the stupidity of the OBS community trying to get double or triple their trucks value. I'm confused what those who defend the high prices think they are going to get? More friends? Cool-guy points? A free OBS truck? Because it's downright idiotic defending something so blatantly screwed up.
I have a 2003 with the legendary 7.3 on it. Barely 200k miles on, it does leak oil like crazy and always broken I looking to replace the transmission for the third time , in my experience those trucks are a pile of over priced junk
