We had a short getaway to Daytona Beach before the weekend storm Debby this coming weekend. We stayed at El Caribe Hotel. It’s a 3star hotel, old building but we had all the comforts of home that we needed. We had the oceanfront view! They have a decent size refrigerator and microwave, bistro table and 2 chairs for our dining. Our view was slightly blocked by a mature palm tree. We’re on the 3rd floor of the building and still had the Palm tree in front of us. Not a big deal since the morning sun was up at 6am. We didn’t waste anytime, we soaked in the early sunrise by walking on the beach.
