+Bill - your great vids, like this one, have been sorely missed. Welcome back. My 7.3L F-350 dually injectors are pretty quiet, truck has 285,000 miles on it. One thing I noticed on a cross country trip was that it seems to really suck fuel going down long grades (like 5 miles at more than 6%) with the throttle closed - am I right in guessing that the injectors are leaking raw fuel during high vacuum?.
vaccumme ford parts' website has them listed with item numbers, but you can cross reference to fastoemparts' website for actual part numbers. short block and long block assembly part numbers vary by year, so search by that.
Hell Bill, my name is Floyd and I have a 2000 Ford F/250 7.3 over 450k miles on it. I rebuilt all of my injectors and every time I do a Buzz test every thing sounds fine but when I do the cylinder contribution test, I get the codes PO 266 AND PO 284, cylinder #2 and cylinder #8. What do you think the problem is? Please respond THANK YOU!
Move the suspected injectors to a different hole. Did the problem move with them? If so, you KNOW for sure it was the injector itself!!! Injector Control Pressure regulator and sensor (and each's connector) are other common problems.
I have 2000 international 4700 the oil is being pulled from the engine into the fuel tank. Have not been able to find the problem any information will helpful thanks
I got a 444e hard to start I used a heat gun the driver bank warned up quick around 130 degrees but the whole passenger side stayed at 80 degrees at the manifold that's after about a minute of idioling
I'm struggling with a crank no start on my 96. I've replaced all external o rings on all 8 injectors...and have done a shim kit. Does this possibly mean my internal o rings are shot?
