What an awesome video Matt. Excellent job of showing this with all your technical explanations. My great grand mother had one of those Maytags! I remember it in her wash house. Love the counter weight. Keep us informed on progress. 👍😊❤️
Thank you for taking the time to watch! Every time the fancy modern washer breaks, the Maytag always starts right up! More "explaining" to come. I think it will benefit anyone considering a similar project.
🤣🤣 I was like no, no Matt. I love that rumble vibrating go kart noisy feel, makes it like manly 😀 but then you showed it running battery... Shhhhh no noise... 🤣 I changed my mind . I like the battery... 👍 you sold me.. liked the HOn3 model..
Thank you for checking out the video Pappy! There is an operator that has a one cylinder Lamborghini diesel power his locomotive, it is the best sounding combustion powered locomotive on the rails. I will be happy to hear the wheels clack over the rail joints this way
Hi Matt, great video! I am still working on my titan train flat cars I told you about. I am waiting for the bettendorf trucks. Being an older mechanic I love the gasoline engine sounds! My RC trucks are Nitro!
You will not like it when it operates on Battery's. Trolly power would be more practable then battery. That would require overhead lines and I would stick to what you have. Ask me how I know.
This is the second summer going on battery. It's quiet and pulls 2,000 pounds up 3.5% all day long. The control is super smooth for jerk free starts and stops, and is a candidate for a custom wireless system to make switching solo a breeze. The sound system makes is sound accurate, and the ability to play music on it is wonderful to make hours of track work sessions tick by faster. To each their own, gas power has its place, but I can't imagine going back.
