Filmed at Caravan Salon Dusseldorf, the Rapido 896F costs well over EUR70k. The vehicle is seven and a half metres long. This integrated vehicle has a large queen bed at the back and a double bed over the cabin. The shower and toilet are separate.

What do you call a 'proper kitchen' as far as a 750cm motorhome is concerned?

Alan Heath something with an oven at least. Eating out is expensive and when you spend £70k on something you at least want the option to be able to do a proper meal in it. I know some people don’t use ovens but I would.

Kevin Thornley I have one these vans. Can’t fault it. The UK version comes with an oven and stabilisers. I’ve toured Germany and Switzerland without any hiccups so it lasts longer than a week!

Can a retired American buy and own a RV in Europe to tour for a year or two?

Certainly as far as renting is concerned. As for buying, you will need to have some form of residence in the EU for registration and insurance purposes although you won't physically have to live there.
