You are SO GOOD at actually writing in your journals - something I really struggle to do - not sure why. Thanks for spending some time with me today. Hugs, baby girl, MomK 🤗❤️🌵❤️🤗
Dear Barbara, that was a lovely journey! Through all your beautiful, beautiful journals! It was a journey in the past as well. I remember so many of your processes while I was listening and watching you witch reverence. Thank you for all these memories and tipps. Love from Rita 😘😘
My daughter was building us a fire in our wood burning stove. She brought me some of the bark off of a Quaking Aspen tree. She said “I’m not sure if you can use this or not, but it screamed Junk Journal to me!” Lol. I love that my family is on the lookout for fun junk. There’s free stuff everywhere. I love this series. So many good ideas. 💗💞💗
This list is a real treasure trove of ideas and your visual examples are truly inspiring. I love your journals and style and flipping through them is so much fun.
Thank you for reminding me of all the things. Even the not so great scrapbook paper can be painted 😆 I always want all the new toys but it can get so expensive. Most times it's nature that inspes me.
So much inspiration from all your examples! Definitely a video to go back to when feeling a little stuck. Thank you for sharing all of these lovely ideas! 🤗❤️ Tamara
This was so fun to walk down memory lane with you in your journals. I kept saying "I remember when she made this". Very inspiring to get me going!!! You are so organized!💜
Thanks Barbara. It’s always good to get a reminder of the many different things we can use in our journals. Now if I could only make them look as cool as yours. ❤
Barbara: all the things we collect and put away, and forget. are surprising when we rediscover them again. I was cleaning out a drawer I hadn’t touch in years to find so many things I could use in a collage. I couldn’t believe it. What fun that was! Carol from California
Wieder so viele Ideen auf einmal! 😊 Vielen Dank dafür! 💚 An dein Naturjournal hab ich mich sofort erinnert… das finde ich wunderschön. Liebe Grüße Nicole
Really great ideas. I have some items that I collected when I was in England a few years ago. It was a wonderful trip and very educational.bone I'll never forget.🧡🤗🐼🐼
Thank you for these couple of videos. Well, actually for all of your videos, but these 2 have really helped me think of new ways to use things I already have.
I've watched dozens of your videos and it sounds as though you are very well travelled... I am so envious of that! I wish I could have traveled more in my life. 😢 But today I can at least see most of the world through the internet, it's better than nothing 😅❤
Very enjoyable video reminding us of all the categories of things we almost certainly have around already! To put things in categories is very helpful because I often get overwhelmed by all of my stuff so I can’t settle down and make a decision on what to do! Also nice to review all the wonderful things you have made!🇨🇦💕
Love, love all of these. It's so fun to see your previous journals again! I still haven't been brave enough to make my own stamps yet. Hopefully I will get there, someday. Loads of candy wrapper possibilities coming up over Easter this weekend! 🐼
Awesome!!! someone needed to remind junk journalists that a journal can be created from other stuff besides diecuts, printables and oxide paints. Thankyou! I have everything you reviewed.. but the homemade stamps.😊 your journals are beautiful! Your older work is gorgeous, too. ❤❤❤ Jeannie in Canada
Ive found i enjoy using cardboard. It started with a picture of a pelican, then a picture of xenoceratops, and old ads for seeds. I ended up giving each picture a card type layout. The more i worked with cardboard, the more i smiled. The last card has a recessed area for whatever, and a cardboard cover over it, to enclose whats there. I have two cinnamon sticks in a pile waiting for the nxt card. Have fun. Take care.
Lol yummy 😋. I love packaging but never used it 'as is'. Lol my Grandma never threw/reused anything without removing the buttons. Unfortunately my mother threw her huge button tin away 😫 whyyyyyyy? (she hated 'old' and tradition 🤦 I'm more like my grandma's daughter lol) So I've started a new one to pass down to my daughter/granddaughter. So many letters are franked now, the hand written letter is Unfortunately gone 😔. So many good ideas and reminders and it's lovely to see your older work again😍. Tfs and have a great day 💖💖💖
I have watched eleventymillion videos on making journals but these two from you are just fabulous!! So many great ideas and your journals are just so fun to look through. Thank you so much for sharing. Now I must go and look at your other videos. 📚💌
Bravo barbara . Quelle créativité. Regarder vos vidéos pleines de surprises , d'imagination , d'inspiration c'est un émerveillement à chaque Junk journal . .Un monde infini de possibilités . Donc Merci pour vos vidéos . Je me suis abonnée. Je vous regarde du sud de la France et franchement ça fait du bien surtout dans ce monde actuel. Merci . Sylvie B
Are you coming down with a cold or are you run down? Take it easy. Loving the journals. Wondering how many Journals you have. So many great ideas as always xx
Barbara, after I saw how you used packaging with the leaf dies, I always have paper I have ink on from projects and have started using my leaf dies to cut out those papers. You always have such great ideas. Thanks for always sharing and inspiring! ❤
Thank you so much. Awe inspiring. Thank you for the great ideas some of which I through of, but haven not figure out how to do them at this point. Seeing them makes it so much easier. It is so wise to date you art work.. Brilliant! You can do a review again some time!
Thanks for another awesome video! I always learn so much from you. I love your idea of repurposing art from other journals. I have tons of journals with only a few pages done. I am going to go thru them now and check out what I can save!
Love your creativity. Your stamp collection is amazing. It is hard to find stamps because people don't write letters much anymore. I have some I will truly cherish from old letters. Can I ask a question? Do you make a themed journal and add elements as you find them (maybe taking a long time to complete/fill) or do you decide on the theme and make the complete journal quickly (looking for specific items you want to add)? I have made some journals and can't decide which I want to do- make each a different theme/topic and have several going at once or pick a theme and make them one at a time. Awesome video. 💝
Thanks! I usually decide on a theme looking at what I have and gather everything to make the journal. But I also work in blank journals without a theme (like in most of my Junk Journal Snacks episodes). You don’t have to decide on just one way. Enjoy trying different methods for different journals 😊
