An oven! Perfect!, I’ll put my name down now! Also has a roof bed that doesn’t block the doorway. I think I’m in love! On top of that I got in before the thumbs downer got in!
Can't really get a grip on why you can't use your Rapido for more than a couple of weeks a year, is it made of papier mache and it will melt and fall apart? Do bits just start falling off? I just can't see it somehow. Maybe if you have a family staying in it or are renting it it out but for 2 adults treating it correctly and carrying out maints as required I think it would be OK. Saying all that I haven't got one at the moment. My wife and I have set our sights on a new Rapido 8094DF and its going to get used...a lot, we're hoping at least.
Hard to say John. Price depends on issues such as distribution costs which may be higher. Of course there is also a different VAT rate and transport costs to be added on as well. The price of a van does not mean much and it is very difficult to compare like to like. I could write a whole thesis on this subject. If you want a very inexact guess then I would say a UK price is going to be five to ten percent more.
@@VanlifewithAlan The reason I ask is some of the vans seem very reasonable to the prices over here. I know specs are different but they do seem a lot cheaper than here sometimes. We bought a new Pilote and they are expensive compared to the prices I see. Keep up the good work, it's a dirty job but someone has to do it!
Because they have not designed them yet! Pretty stupid in my opinion - I would just continue with the current model until sales start to slow or technology takes over!
