Amazing! Love hearing all the birds, views and waterfalls. So peaceful and green! Prayers for continued safe travels on the second half of your journey.
Thanks for the encouragement, Michelle! It really does make us smile. We love all the natural sounds too. This really was a beautiful, peaceful national park. Thanks for your prayers! We can hardly believe that half of our camper van year is over. Time flies!
Thanks for watching, Matt! It really was SO green. Layers and layers of green. And the dessert was delicious! Thanks for following our journey! We love hearing from you.
Great views and waterfals. I really thought Stoney Man was the best. Nothing can beat the wonder's of God's Glory in nature. CS Lewis said, " There are far better things ahead, than any we leave behind." Your Mission is proof of this statement and it will keep getting better. "We'll travel on, over mountains so high We'll go through valleys below Still through it all we'll find that This is the greatest journey That the human heart will ever see The love of God will take us far Beyond our wildest dreams"
Shenandoah was gorgeous! It had a little bit of everything--waterfalls, mountaintops, good food--all of our favorite things. And these lyrics are from one of our favorite SCC songs. We are on the great adventure indeed. Dan, thanks for watching and for the encouragement!
Hey guys, your videos are fun to watch and well put together, I watched 2 and signed up. I'm looking forward to your Hurricane Ridge video, where we met, it's fun meeting other RU-vidr's in the wild. I'm ahead so mine is 3 videos out.
Thanks Dave! It was great meeting ya out there. We took a quick look at your channel and love what we see. Subscribing now under my (Jimmy) personal account to follow your adventures.
We love waterfalls, and this park had some beautiful ones. We had driven through here before but had never stopped. So glad we were able to get out and explore this time. Thanks for watching and commenting, Duane. It puts smiles on our faces to hear from you!
Thanks for the prayers! They are always appreciated. This park is just so green and beautiful and a great place to get out play on some rocks. And you can summit the tallest peak without hiking for miles and miles.
Thanks for being a part of our journey, Sean! We are really enjoying visiting places that we've been before and especially the places that we have never seen. So amazed at God's creativity!
Hello there! Another great adventure in the books! Here are my top 5! 1. Bearfence Trail - You both make rock climbing look so easy and I know isn't. You both got skills. 2. Waterfalls - Nothing more beautiful and peaceful then the sounds of waterfalls. 3. Big Meadows Lodge - the food and dessert all looked scrumptious! 4. Rose River Trail - I loved how green everything was. Beautiful trees and cascade waterfalls. 5. Hawksville and Stony Mountain - those views were absolutely stunning!
We visited Shenandoah National Park years ago and just drove through. It was beautiful doing that, but to really experience it, you need to get out and hike. We loved these trails! The rock scrambling was a lot of fun, the waterfalls were beautiful, the mountaintops were spectacular. Oh, and the food was pretty good too. Thanks, Teresa, for your Top 5. We think they are our Top 5 also.
