Thank you to Amazon Prime Day, the 50mm 1.8 lens by 7 Artisans for Fujifilm had a very good deal, and it was the right time to purchase it! Yuppy!
I was very curious to try lenses made by 7 Artisans (the 35mm is looking at me and I am staring at it) and I am not disappointed at all of this little and well-built lens.
I wish to test it also in portraits, hope it will happen soon. Meanwhile, you can enjoy some street photography shots that I made during the weekend.
Also, sorry, I know that the images of me walking are the next level of "shaking".

Hi Giulia! This is a great cost-effective lens. I have and use one. I use to make photos with it, but now it’s dedicated for video and is perfect for that.

Ciao Matteo, grazie del tuo commento! Non riesco a dirti con precisione le info della macchina, perchè il mio Hard Disk è rimasto in un'altra casa (tristezza a palate), ma andando a memoria, credo di avere avuto gli iso sui 400, una velocità di 160 e l'apertura intorno agli 8. Per renderla come la vedi sono passata in Lightroom con un preset che ho creato per sistemare le mie foto affinchè mantengano sempre un color grading simile. Spero di esserti stata d'aiuto :)

I think "yes", because the mount lens it's for the X series, however, check better online to be 100% sure (or ask directly on Amazon)

Do you ever have issues with clarity at longer distances/higher f-stop? I can’t figure out why I’m losing clarity at long distances 😩

For longer distances try focusing on objects either in the foreground or the middle ground. You can practice by viewing other long distance images and seeing where the main focus lies.

Hi, I've got the 7artisans 25mm f1.8 for fujifilm I've been using it for a while now and I really had my troubles with it. But if you stick to it and get your focus right it's actually a good lens. Normally I use the xf35mmf2 and that one is even in Manuel spot on. Anyway for the money and if you like the flare of it it's a great lens. So what I want to know is if you are still happy with the 50mm?

Thank you for your comment. I totally agree, with you, and at the beginning finding the right combo with aperture and shutter speed was quite hard. I have to say that I'm still happy with this lens. I will not use it for "fast" street photography sessions, because I will get too many blurry pictures, but for a more relaxed photo session, when I will have the proper time to think about everything. I really want to try the 35mm to see the difference (maybe with the next black Friday). Anyway, for the price, I am more than happy. Compare to the cheapest 50mm for Canon, with the Fuji lens, I can experiment more. Let me know where I can see your pictures, because I am curious :)

Thank you for your comment. My ideas were more "general" to show this lens characteristic and in a real-life situation. Anyway, I will challenge myself to shoot with 1.8 aperture only and maybe produce a video, so you will see how the pictures will look 👍🏻

Is it a 50mm on a Apsc sensor. Or do you have to multiply the crop factor?

Hi Koji, thank you for your question. So the lens is aps-c compatible, while the XT-30 has a aps-c body (that has a crop factor of 1.53). Yes, you will have to multiply for the crop factor. So, the 50mm lens will have the field of view that a 75mm.
