I love this video. Married 6 years and we are still “his” & “her “ money! Hard to get on one plan. But I’m going to show this to my husband and pray it helps. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Need to get back to the monthly budgeting, and the date nights. Been going through a lot of changes lately, but we still need to invest in our marriage. Thanks for the reminder.
Loved all these tips! My husband and I are 14 years in as well and we definitely had to walk through some of these tips. Once we got through it we were so much better for it. Working on generational wealth building together 😉. Always great content!
Great advice as always... I enjoy watching you two. My hope is that someday my wife and I will join forces in combining our finances so we could win as you guys have.
Such good information! This often isn't talked about to newlyweds, we get the standard, "oohh finances" conversation and miss learning about these common pits.
Awesome video! I’m not married yet I and my partner are on the same page so far yay! Gearing up to marry soon! We’ve already talked about things we want to do together!! Great share ♥️
I agree with everything! All of those points are important. My husband and I could not have become debt free (except our mortgage) without working together, budgeting, and making sure we listen to each other.
Thanks for this. These are definitely some basics we need to get back to. I love the allotted money to spend for each person idea that you come to an agreement on. I think I feel off with the ours because I began to want something for me or wanted to ensure we saved or whatever have you but if we don’t come together as a team it can be really hard.
How would you suggest address spending so much that it leaves just enough for the bills to get paid but only one person in the marriage is getting to enjoy any of the excess income after the bills are paid, or even worse causing to not be able to afford some of the basic household necessities? Bills are paid, but yet there isn’t enough money to purchase groceries, or replace torn or outgrown clothing, etc.
