Thé Pochette Métis: it sits on my shelf staring at me. Yes, I was pulled into the hype and just had to have it. The things I don’t like about it are all the pockets which are rather small, which for me makes the bag rather fussy-it needs to be packed just right. Also, it’s weighty compared to what it can hold. The final thing is the way it becomes bulgy when you put everything in. Thanks for sharing your misses, you always seem so put together, it’s good to know you make poor purchases too.
You inspired me to collect lambskin classic flaps. All of mine are lambskin only and I can never imagine adding a caviar CF. The inspired CF list is black with silver, black with gold, caramel, 21C (mint green, pale yellow, sky blue), black with silver jumbo, mini square. I was fully influenced to get the pochette Metis. I hate saying this, but it's years later and I have only used it once or twice. I should have sold it, but I was afraid I'd regret it. (dumb I know. It's like I have some weird attachment to my bags and can't let go). I have made much more intentional & better handbag purchases over the last few years.
I remember all the hype about the pochette Métis and knowing my style at that time where I was all about top handle bags opposed to crossbody bags I was still considering this bag in reverse monogram luckily for me I overcame the wave of the Métis and didn’t purchase and am sooo glad😅

The Pochette metis didn’t work out for me either. I had it in the empriente black leather. I do think I will get a speedy b 25 but an older one since they have made some changes to it.
Glad I stumbled on your video! I'm super torn on getting the new speedy b 25 DE or to get one pre-loved because of the matte finish leather on the new DE. When looking at your speedy b 25, I can't tell if you have the original shiny leather handles & strap or the newer matte leather. I read on lots of forums that the matte leather can get water marks from rain, and an LV SA told me to be mindful when using hand lotion before touching the handles/strap. This is definitely not the case with the older shiny DE leather. If you do have the newer matte leather finish or maybe other DE in the newer matte, how does the handle & strap holding up on your speedy b nowadays? Is it easy to get some water marks (rain) on the matte handle? Do you have to baby the bag when using it? I know that rain isn't an issue with the original shiny leather. Curious to know how the matte leather performs! :) Thanks so much!!

At the beginning when she unboxed it she did, but she ended up not liking it at alll because of the wear, and I think it also broke? From the chain. But I might be wrong hahaha. But that first video was my love at first sight moment for me
