That's why God invented make up. Depressed last Saturday as usual. Put make up on and boom, I looked better, I felt better (of course not 100%) but it helps. Having bought a lot of lipstick in my lifetime, there’s something to be said about high end brands. The color is richer/better, the formula is incredible and lasts much longer plus it makes your lips feel as well as look beautiful. So less is definitely more in this category ladies in that I’d rather have a couple gorgeous high end lipsticks then to have a big selection of lesser brands. 💋
It is so true that if we don’t love a sunscreen we won’t wear it. I am in love with the La Roche-Posay Anthelios 50 Daily Face Primer with Suncreen SPF 50. I have found this one to be the best under makeup. It truly blurs pores, fine lines, and skin imperfections. I live in hot and humid Miami, I have combination to oily skin, and this one keeps my makeup in place. To retouch over makeup I use Colorescience Brush-On Sunscreen Mineral Powder. On days that I am not wearing makeup, I use Alba Botánica Baby Clear Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50. I am of medium to tan complexion and it has zero white cast. If it’s good for a baby, it’s good for me!
I didn't know there was such a thing as a powder sunscreen. I used to think what I could do once the foundation's spf time ran out. Thank you for the tips.
I love La Roche-Posay! I use the tinted sunscreen SPF 50 and it looks and feels like a beautiful light foundation, unlike many other tinted sunscreens. I will definitely try the Face Primer you mentioned, as I never have seen it (or bothered to look further than what I normally buy).
Until I started watching all these videos, I never knew here were blurring products. So do they just make your makeup look blended already, so many of the ladies tell us to use it but not what to do with it so if I get one, I’m clueless. Can anyone please help? I’m also new to the super high end. I’ve worn Dior, Laura Mercier, a little Nars. I was looking for the face sheet a Nars girl made up of me last night and found a big leak under my sink - not my jam but I guess it was a blessing. Anyway. So a lot of these I’m a new baby too. I like the thought of a big palette. Do they usually work out on your whole face, I mean if I’m sensitive - or are some more sensitives. I’m getting so confused with concealers, blurring, highlighters. Why do the mature ladies only put a little contour on while next a 20 year old has her entire face in light and dark and in triangles like it took 2 days and then blends here and there. I’m so confused I want to get back in bed. I’d think the more mature skin would need more but who has time for that? Sorry for being windy I’m just curious. I barely have eyebrows. Hereditary plus I plucked too much on the out and inner when I was too young. So any pointers, I’d be your friend forever or just thank you so much. I do have one who has been helpful also. Products I regret: any glitter eyeshadow, most brow products I've purchased, primers that did not work for my skin type but someone convinced me I needed! I am not so easily convinced by sales people anymore :)

The product I never regret buying is Geurlain foundation. I have sensitive dry skin and it works so amazing for me. It is light, very glowy, and stays beautiful even without any powder which I hate using during the day. And the packaging is so beautiful. Definitely worth the money.

As I have matured into my thirties, biggest regret in terms of makeup is purchasing and wasting so so much money on pallets I thought I ‘needed’, when really, like you say, a simple palette for everyday is all you need really. I love charlotte tilbury matye revolution lipsticks more than lisa eldridge velvet lipsticks! I absolutely love CT lipsticks and I never regret buying those. I think they have this light diffusing pigments which make your lips amazing. It's not overly done. Anyone who agrees with this?
I do. For me, Lisa Eldridge lipstick was a disappointment in terms of formula and colour itself . I gave it to my mom. CT was love for first swipe. I already own couple of shade and each one is wearable and unique
Best Invest: anything Charlotte Tilbury, Tart palettes, Marc Jacobs, Fenty, and Giorgio Armani foundation. Regrets: lots of impulse drugstore buys that I never use ( searching for that perfect shade of lipstick 💄 )

I purchased the light wonder youth boosting foundation and I like it and get compliments when I use it. I also like the eye palette that I recently purchased CT luxury Palette ( I really like it)! No I disagree. Look at all the people Women’s are deathly allergic, I can’t even stand to look at new makeup because hey have to put the perfume next to it. I have deadly headaches but I won’t go into it because you’d never understand. I’d end up in the ER. Rhey should have a separate section. At least they don’t have those silly girls spraying you and I have to yell from afar, don’t you dare. They don’t have the right to spray you, they have to ask. I rarely see them now. If you want it, go aside. That’s helpful. I can’t even get some magazines because rhey refuse to pull all those perfume adds. Most magazines are very accommodating. Just be mindful of health issues you might have that others don’t and how you get sick. It’s the same thing.
About exfoliants: 1. It doesn`t matter if you use them during the day or at night - applying sunscreen is a must in both cases 2. Chemical exfoliants have many benefits for different skin types but not everybody needs to use them, many people actually tend to overexfoliate and cause damage to their skin 3. P50 is iconic for sure (it was one of the first products of its kind) but today there are tons of other options on the market many of which are cheaper and don`t have that horrid smell

Mascara and concealer are absolute staples for me. Love the "Definicils" Mascara by Lancome - a bit pricey but total game changer, perfectly separates and creates long, defined lashes. Lipstick or lipgloss (e.g. Fenty Gloss Bomb in Fenty Glow) is my secret weapon when time is of the essence. Always looks chic and put together.
I've not regretted buying the Mario matte eyeshadow palette at all. The colours are all I need and blend beautifully. I also can't live without my eyelash curlers ❤.
Why no to an eyelash curler if you don’t mind sharing? I am needing a new one. I think I have an expensive one and used up the extra piece too. Is it still true to throw it out and get a new one or can you still just get replacements? It seems like such a waste of money. Mine is Shiseido. I saw an hourglass. I just need a gentle one and won’t break my lashes.
@Nikki King. I think you can get replacement refills for most brands of eyelash curlers. Cult Beauty sell the ones for the Shiseido eyelash curlers. I've had mine for years, and they're still working well.
One product I will never ever regret buying (and you made me buy it, Andreea!) is the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder. Best investment for an oily T-zone. Also, another gem for me would be the Lancome Monsieur Big mascara. On the other side of the spectrum, for items I regret buying (I know they're loved products, but for me it just didn't click) is the Nars Audacious lipstick. I mean it was ok, but I found drugstore lipsticks that are much better than that.
For some reason I hated my monsieur big mascara. Every time I tried to use it I found that too much product came out and the mascara was too wet and it clumped all my eyelashes together and gave them the spider leg look that I hate. It was one of the blackest mascaras I've ever tested though and it was long lasting but overall I did not enjoy it, who knows maybe I got a bad batch or something.

Lifetime genetic dark circle sufferer here... the game changer for me has been two things: vitamin K (in my multivitamin and in my eye cream - it WORKS) and switching from heavy concealers to lighter coverage light reflecting "brighteners." I agree with your YSL recommendation, it's a great product. Just enough coverage to balance undereye darkness and cheek redness while looking very natural and bright.
@@victoriagonzales5164 I used to use Naturopathica’s K eye cream, but they reformulated recently and the new one is not as effective (it’s also now $82 USD - ouch). I’m on the hunt for a replacement, but in the meantime I’m using a vitamin k bruise cream that’s meant for the body. It’s by Revision. It works okay, and is very inexpensive.
I have to add…a perfume. I can not live without a fragrance . If I forget to wear a perfume and leave house without it…I feel sooo uncomfortable 😀. Please please make a video about your fragrances or just add your fragrance of the day in your stories. 🙏 I am so curious!!❤️

Someone said those tweezers are just tweezerman. I’m so tired of them and rhey get dull so fast. Please tell me it’s not true? I sent in 3 pairs. I didn’t have the brand new (at the time , the rose gold). They sent them back totally scratched up., not sharpened. The others were the original pink, and rhey also were scratched. Rhey said that’s how they came, so knowing me, I take photos of everything. I sent and said did they come looking like that, no. Plus you never sharpened. I got some lame excuse so only t buy the pineapple ones. Mini, a couple summers ago, rhey aren’t much but I’m obsessed with pineapples. I’d never buy from them again. I tried their Laura Mercier, hated them. I mean seriously where can you buy anything decent at any price?
I love Clarins skincare products the orange cleanser, total-eye, extra-firming eye creams and moisturizers! They work magic on my skin I have dermatographia skin condition that swells up upon any kind of pressure on the skin and it takes the hives on my skin down in 5 minutes! I have tried everything prescription and expensive stuff nothing works like these Clarins products on my extremely sensitive skin! I also love the By terry Hyaluronic foundation that you recommended and armani power fabric foundations! Best other skincare items for my skin are all Tatcha ones!

I normally wear lip glosses and I have to reapply and reapply but I guess it’s time to grow up. I guess I just never felt comfortable with lipstick. So many are matte. My lips and everything else is super dry right now, my skincare is all drying up. I don’t know what to get. I didn’t care what the dermatologist suggested. So I’m lost. How do you know, most of her lipsticks look the same. So they stay on. I normally cover my lips in a lipliner for staying power. I like a lot of her lipsticks but I don’t how they’d look on me, is Sephora a good place whom might have a good selection? Product I never regret: Kah Gen Do foundation - I thought I had my foundation to a T, but I was blown away by KGD! Seamless, hydrating… even after powder still looks like skin only! The colour I bought was a risk and it coulndt be more perfect! Tea to tan - oh my this is a stunning product to create a tan in seconds! Smells great and foolproof to use if you have a big body brush that is kabuki-like! Sheseido whipped blush - aah! With beauty blender, perfection like you would say :) Tweezerman eyelash curler - adore mine, and cant imagine life without it. Byterry setting powder - this is invisible and doesnt look cakey under my eyes. Mattifies my foundation where I dont like shine and lasts the whole day. I have very dry skin. Adore it! Laura Mercier blush brush - this brush is the perfect shape and makes my blush look adorable! Makes me so very happy! It cosmetics foundation brush - NO words, just perfect for all my foundations and cleans in a wink! Still fluffy after two years and still looks like new with daily use and washing. Tarte fake awake - this eyeliner is invisible and gives a great effect! Adore it! Ordering more! Products I regret: Nars liquid highlighter orgasm - I simply cant find a way to use it, its too runny and doesnt want to mix with the foundations I have. It sets dry and causes the foundation to set too, causing patches. Maybe I am not using it right. Glossier brow flick - the tip clogged with a cream product on my first use, and now its unusuable. My mistake. Maybe I regret more not taking care! Laura Mercier Highligter brush - the fan one… any brand really. Dont use it at all. Mirror with light that only has a stand - there is nowhere I can put it where I can see myself. Even sitting at a table one needs to hunch down. I loved the silk pillowcases I got from Fishers Finery. I regret huge eyeshadow pallets. I prefer quads at the most and have never used any eyeshadow with more than a four colors without wasting a lot!

Many people never uses it because they have naturally curved lashes already. For example, I don't need it. No matter how much I try, it does literally nothing with mine, because they have that curve naturally, and you never see Andreea using one, so maybe that's her case, too. So I regret buying one, because it was money wasted, and the video is about things anybody would reget buying.
@@beatrizsandoval4395 I never had to use one when I was younger but along came my late 40’s and my lashes became stubborn!! So now it’s eyelash curler and waterproof mascara to help keep the curl. This is my experience though - we are all different.

I’m pretty sure she “Doctors rhem up but I have such eye issues I can’t wear fake lashes. I just want more volume, I have plenty of length because rhey already hit my reading glasses. @@nikkikrug667 No, I don't think I am following any cult here. I don't use any other products of dior. Nor am I following their PR. What I love about this Mascara is , that it gives volume and lifts the lashes, without smuging a bit. I never have got these black panda undereye smudgings with it, whereas I had a lot such issues with other brands. It also doesn't make black spinckles ander the eyes like some others do . Also it holds well for the complete day, even in the non -waterproof version, which is the one, I use. I also love the brush and that the brush separates all the lashes very well. I never get those spider or fly lashes, where all the lashes stick together. And it's very black in the black version, but you can also get a brown one too. For the curler I sadly have no recommendations, mine is very old and I need to replace it as well. 💕

Thanks for the wonderful explanation of the mascara. I think you’ve talked me into it. I can’t wear water proof mascara due to the many eye issues I have so I do the bare minimum. I don’t put eye liner on my bottom lines or barely mascara on my bottom either. I just touch up the bottom tips so I have color. I just want a little lift and volume, as she said our eyes get a little hood, I’ve just noticed I itty bitty one starting. My birthday was last Monday, it has just gone downhill since. 😬 I get those spiders too and because of my acne skin when I was young, and it’s just always had issues, my parents started me in really good brands (not like these) but gradually all my life. @@nikkikrug667 oh no, in that way it isn't a cult product. You can get it very easily in an Makeup-Store which sells Dior products or online. I think it costs like 32 euros, but you come a long way with it. It works for several months before it's empty. So in the long run its much cheaper than buying a lot of cheaper ones that don't work properly . Let me know if you got it and if you liked it!💕

I will NEVER regret buying Cle de Peau Concealer SPF 25...blends like a dream, it doesn't crease in my fine lines and wrinkles around my eyes and looks like my skin, but better! Highly recommend 10/10!

I have a lot of Chanel lipsticks and Charlotte Tilbury products that I regreted buying. I've wasted so much money buying CT eyeshadow quads and cream eyeshadow pots which are so shimmery ( yuck). I got sucked into Charlotte's hypnotic description of all the products that she sells. I even bought her very disappointing daytime and nighttime magic moisturizers.. My ride or die mascara is the Maybelline Lash Sensational Waterproof mascara. It gives me beautiful full lashes, holds the curl, doesn't transfer and withstands my teary laughter! For the lips, I have Sensai Cellular Performance Total Lip Treatment (I know - a mouthful!). This product has really saved my chappy lips! In wintertime I have always - ALWAYS - gotten chappy lips to the point they bleed. This balm is a lip saver. It's pricey, but SO worth it!
I absolutely love the ysl touche eclat. Both the brightening and the high cover. The high cover is the best concealer that I've used but there is just so little product in the tube for a high price. It's just not worth it to me. It's less than half the amount of product than other concealers.

I will never regret buying Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer and Kevyn Aucoin Eyelash Curler, Kevyn Aucoin Foundation Balm, Nars Liquid Blush, Chanel Mascara and Eyeliner, Too Faced LIP Plumper Gloss. I regret buying mac foundations and so many lipsticks even though I love their lipsticks and lipliners, but I didnt need that money from the same “cheap” brand. ❤️
I love all my Tom Ford lipsticks, so much so that I often purchase doubles of my favorites. I regret all the concealers I've purchased that never cover the dark circles under my eyes. I also regret all the expensive powder blushes that sit in my drawer because powders accentuate the lines on my face. Even with this regret, I still love my Chanel blushes and dot a bit of serum over my cheeks to try to improve their appearance.

I have never used the mirror and eyeshadow pallets. Never… The only time I could think that it could be useful is on a road trip or maybe doing your makeup and the end of a long plane ride🤷♀️. Personally I think if brands skipped the mirror they could lower the price of the product…👏👏👏👏
My ride or die products are: benefit Precisely my Brow, Colorscience Sunscreens which double up as Foundations (so amazing and natural looking) and Pat McGrath lipliners in Contour and Done Undone. I am going to buy the Makeup by Mario pallet now! I've had my eye on it for a while and you have just twisted my arm!
Please always use spf if you use any exfoliants or retinols (no matter if you use them only in the night). I have sensitive skin and i like the Good Molecules Overnight Exfoliating Treatment, it doesn't anger my light rosacea and is very afordable. I can recommend looking into korean skincare in general , usually it is afordable and delivers good results (plus there are a lot of youtube videos that review it and explain ingredients). I don't use makeup every day but i always need a lipstick , my favorites are the matte formulas from Charlotte Tillbury and Lisa Eldridge. I also can't be without the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk and the Charlotte Tilbury pressed powder and setting spray (i have combo skin and i can reapply the powder as often as i want, it never looks cakey). Also team Beauty Blender here , i just like the texture and application, i tried others but always go back (i wish i could apply my foundation with a brush for sustainability, but i have texture on my skin and a sponge is more forgiving)

Lipsticks can be such a treasure. I adore pat McGRATH matte lipstick in beautiful stranger. It gives my lips depth and a sultriness. I recently regret buying a by terry highlighter foundation stick. It wasn’t nice to work with.
I will never regret buying YSL Touch Éclet Radiant Touch (using two years now), ABH Brow Wiz & Benefit 24 Hour Brow Setter (both using about one year on your recommendation), Lip Liner from MAC and Charlotte Tilbury, Sensai 38 C Volumizing Mascara (kind of waterproof mascara, removing with warm water; still hunting one non waterproof with minimum transfer under the eyebrow - I have long lashes) and from skin care my favorite product from Natinuel - Cleanser PHA-AHA 5% (using about two years now, it is great) ❤️
Never regret buying Westman Atelier (anything from this line) but really I am obsessed with the super-loaded tinted highlight in Peau de Peche. I can put it on cheeks, eyes, lips, around the edges of face. My god - it's gorgeous! I have purchased several of these as presents and it makes everyone look beautiful!! I regret buying blur products. I have used Perricone MD miracle blur and Trinny London Blur and quite frankly it just isn't necessary for my skin.
Wonderful video. Hands down, my holy grail concealer is NARS creamy concealer. I'm not going to bother with others anymore. Also love the NARS Light reflecting setting powder, the pressed powder version works great with the concealer. You need just a tiny amount of powder.
As you age, eyebrows lose pigment - I definitely look better, even with nothing else on but eyebrows. Loving the Benefit colored brow mascara, can't recall the name!
