The last clip...that's exactly what you don't want to happen. Hopefully he can try next time on a track instead of public roads. Also, the camera man is lucky as he was filming from middle of the road. Imagine the biker hit him. He wouldn't have been lucky either
I go out and ride every day that weather allows. You want me to go to a track ~ 4x a week? Yeah right. I've estimated the cost - $30k a year. Plus all the time it'd take to drive there and back (80 miles round trip). I'll stick to the twisty roads near me. If I go down, so be it.
I love some of the excuses when they lean too far or too fast then get surprised when physics happens. If you want to total your bike find a track or private land to do it.

@@Explorer273 I wasn't arguing. Planning and doing are different things and ragdoll during an accident is harder than it seems even when planned. Needed practice before I could do it.
@@Zepplin76 I agree as far as experience goes. It's most efficient but we are intelligent creatures capable of imagining a situation and prepare for it. I would also say that in my experience a close call can be enough to trigger the right action. The biggest risk is not being aware of the danger. That said how do you define 'arguing'?

I don't get why some bikers ride so dangerous when they should know they are going to crash. Maybe they are rich and wealthy but to repair these bikes costs thousands and sometimes thousands and thousands and if you put it on your insurance...your insurance is going to go up. Remember that badkitty guy? He was warned to take it easy a zillion times and he crashed and died. People...seriously I ride also but for God sakes grow up.
I notice that a lot of these crashes are caused by showing off on camera. Back when I started 27 years ago, people 'really' knew the risks and respected biking. Yes, we used to ride fast, but we didn't have the pressure of "die for likes" like we do now
Everyone now has short attention span, they see bikers on insta,RU-vid and tiktok doing dumb stuff and wanna be like them… I ride because I actually like bikes and not every ride needs a camera recording, I blame social media tbh
I hope all you guys stay safe riding this summer. I got hit head on by a woman who came into my lane on a blind tun the other day, and I was airlifted to the hospital. Broke both my arms and my femur in my right leg and nearly bled out. I hope you guys all stay safe.

Too many riders testing the 'fuck around and find out' curve. If you feel like riding recklessly, go to a track. This way, you'll only end up fucking up your own day and not some one else's.
After surviving a head on crash a few weeks ago am I crazy for wanting to get back on a bike even though it's going to be a year or two til I can ride again I really want to get back on a bike

It's a shame that he is a snowflake and has turned off the comments as people could tell him that a better title would be "Imagine a world where bikers don't ride in the traffic separation zone and ignore the indicators of drivers who are turning in a legal manner"
Then you don't understand how to react to an immediate crash, first thing to do is to shut the machine down. Are you aware theres a full tank of gasoline drop to the side after the motorcycle was crashed?, if theres a leak and the bike is still running it can cause the bike to go in flames, not mentioning any unpredictable outcome of letting the bike running and overheating. By running to the guy on the ground you wont alleviate any of his pain, but by shunting the bike down you might prevent an immediate worst outcome.
@@marsireviil I'm pretty sure you'll find the first thing any trained emergency personnel will do is to the secure the scene. A running bike is a danger that needs to be eliminated first before you do anything else. It doesn't help anyone when instead of one injured biker you suddenly have multiple cases to deal with because you didn't secure the area.
I honestly get frustrated with this blurring of an accident. These videos should be educational to young and old riders of the community, riders or not. These videos unblurred will show the reality of these situations and would do a lot more for educational purposes, over the blurred version.
I've searched through my state's driving code and there's nothing in there about it being illegal to change lanes in an intersection. I know it’s a common belief but it’s not in there.
@@TheRealSykx - The original comment was about the general case, _"[you’re] not supposed to change lanes 150 before or after an intersection."_ Yes, there are specific conditions, like lane markers, that would make it illegal to change lanes within 150 feet, however, in the general case, in absence of appropriate lane markers, I found no law stating you can’t. I’ve also looked at state laws for states I commonly drive in and found no such law.
