...it brought tears to my eyes. I just lost my little love, Maya of 6 years. Maya and I were attacked by two German Shepards. She didn't survive. I got Maya a week after spending two years in the hospital. I am a combat veteran and was severely injured in Afghanistan. She was my "rock." We were inseparable and made one another's lives more complete. I was looking for an appropriate Sire to breed her with when I lost her. Your puppy's mother's face brought back some loving memories. Thank you for sharing.
@@Ksa-jy7eb I am so sorry to hear of your loss. As dog's lives go I hope it was of natural causes. To know you have given your little companion a long, happy, loving life should bring you some solace. Losing one early is very difficult. Personally, I had Maya cremated and I keep her ashes next to my bed and talk to her every night. Enough time has gone by where I felt Maya would not want me left alone. I know she would want me to give the kind of love I gave to her, to another of her breed. Maya would be delighted if I had another chihuahua and loved her and gave it a mutually loving home. My new pup and I talk to Maya all the time and let her know the puppy is a chihuahua. This has brought us all full circle. I hope this helps. A loss is never going to be easy. My heart goes out to you and yours. The grieving of a pet is much different than that for a human. Be well. Steve

@@ender8995 Although I have heard mention of this, but am unsure if I am all in on believing. One thing is for sure, they are brave, funny as hell, loyal, easily trained and the best companion you could ever ask for,...especially if your domisial isn't that big. **Ayasha, should you need any advice I would gladly help any chihuahua lover make their experience as good as it could be. First and foremost, NEVER put a collar on a baby chihuahua unless it is only to hold an identification tag. Their larynx will be damaged by the pulling of a leash. A good harness that doesn't pull on the throat is a necessity! I can point you in the right direction. sincerely, stevesolo16*gmail.... I'm on So.Cal. emoji, emoji, emoji! Lol!
I just sent this to a YTuber participating in our "chihuahua chat" I meant most of it to go to you. So, I used the cut and paste feature to get it on its way. >>>Although I have heard mention of this, but am unsure if I am all in on believing. Omg so cute. The one that has the German shepherd colors reminds me of our little maximus. Wife and I have 2 Chihuahuas. They are cousin's. 4 years old. Mickey isn't full Chihuahua though he's mixed with mini daschund and rat terrier as well. But man to see them this little and open their eyes for the 1st time was awesome.
That's just like my chihuahua, Cuddles when he was a baby, he crawled straight to me when my mom and I visited my mom's friend's chihuahua after giving birth to five and I bottle-feed him since than. 🍼 We kept Cuddles for a long time until he got old and died. 😢 😭
Oh my goodness, 7? From one mom? We had a Chihuahua birth a litter of 5 and it seemed like that was way too many pups (she looked like she was carry 2 other adult Chihuahuas in her, plus the runt was 1/3 the size- even when it grew up) I couldn't fathom 2 extra pups on top of that!
I REALLY REALLY need help! My lill 2 yr old applehead was acting wierd. I come home to 2 puppies!! I didnt even know she was pregnant! I dont know what to do im scared i dont want anything to happen to them. Any advice for this shocked new mama???
Amy Hartis wow the same thing just happened to me I was home playing my game and seen my dog licking something on my bed and I went over to check it out and seen puppies I didn’t know she was pregnant either cause she was given to me
卄Hidsy You can not purchase a “one day old” chihuahua. They have to be at least 6 weeks old and on solid food before separating the litter from the mother.
6 weeks!? Thats illegal in most countries. Here any pup must be 8 weeks to be sold legally, but for small breeds you should wait until 12 weeks, to give them the best chance to be mentally healthy.
