Picked up Polo Green because of this video. Immediately reminded me of my uncle when I tried it. Called him and turns out he's been wearing it since '78! Absolutely love it.
I had a similar occurrence when I bought Paco Rabanne Pour Homme. The first spray transported me to every wedding reception I attended as a kid. Turns out it's a common fragrance among my uncles 😂

Just want to leave a huge thank you for the tips, plus your english sounds very easy for non natives speakers. Congrats for the quality overall on the channel.
You left out Viking?! Old school fougere type fragrances are the embodiment of that classic manly essence, and Viking is the classiest fougere I've ever smelled
Wearing viking today. It is definitely an acquired taste. I prefer MFK Masculine Pluriel as it is a bit fresher and does last a long time especially for an EDT
Old money scents i recommend (For a budget) Oscar de la Renta Pour Lui Agua Brava by Puig Paco Rabanne Pour Homme Chanel Antaeus Halston Z14 (Maybe) Givenchy Gentleman '74
I don't think there is a single fragrance out there that suits your criteria better than Sauvage Elixir. It has everything from citrus and woods to patchouli and lavender on an ever so slighly ambery base. And unlike Eau Sauvage, which leans way too much into the fougere side of things and muddies some of the notes, this one feels very crisp, yet elegant in its delivery.
