I have problem coming up with stories that tell a deeper meaning. A lot of the stories that I have shows basic ideas of encouragement, creative thinking to solve obstacles or practicing to become better. I don't know how to come up with a story that tells deeper values that colleges might look for. Do you have any tips for this?
It depends. You do want to maintain some decorum - but you also don't want to sound too formal and stilted. Go more towards your own voice (but professional).
