Thanks for watching Tiff! I am so pleased you liked them. Which was your favourite? Colour repetition I think is always something that fascinates me.

That’s a good one for sure! I liked the saturation/desaturated tip because I’m guilty of always wanting the colours saturated so it’s something to think about.. I also really really like the matching props to the backdground, it’s something I like to do but I’ve done it subconsciously and never really thought about 😀 I don’t do it more often because I don’t have the props for it..

Yes, it does take some time for us to build a collection that allows us to do that. But something to consider for sure.

I never thought of saturated and desaturated colors in a composition in that way. Very thoughtful tip! Thanks for sharing!

Absolutely loved this 3-part series Rachel! So much to be mindful of & to learn. So many times, we use colours that make sense together but we are unaware of the colour theory behind it. What is your feeling about a very colourful frame - I would love to share one of my shots & give you a background about my thinking behind it. Would be grateful for your feedback on it🙏🏼

That is so very true! Our brains are very smart and we can feel that we know why colours work, but knowing the 'why' behind it is very powerful in harnessing it's full potential. If you're joining our challenge next week on Instagram I would love to see it!

To be honest Rachel,im more to dark moody colors the dark side lol but joining your 3 series video about colors really an eye opener to me about colors. I would love to challenge myself on the colors and this 7 tips really useful for me to start with! I hope i can execute it well. Repetition colors is one of the tips that i never heard before and eager to try. Thanks Rachel!

This had so much helpful info! Thanks! I love the idea of matching props and backgrounds as well as color repetition. Will be using those soon! I saturate my photos and never desaturate my colors! I will have to try desaturation. I am slowly getting thru your composition course and need to do the Lr course (am using Ps right now). Thanks for these videos!
