Wonderful as always. Thank you very much for the time and effort you put into these videos. I appreciate. Could you also make a video on hand pollination?
I wonder if you have had much luck with growing dioscorea species. Most will not grow here - growing season too short - but I suppose it would be neat to watch. Some gardeners will grow certain crops, especially ones they've had intractable disease issues with, under 10% shade netting which they find a way to tightly close to the garden bed, which keeps bugs that are inside confined and bugs that are outside from reaching the crop. This can make efforts like trapping disease-causing flying insects more effective. I wonder if you have ever rooted suckers in a separate bag or bed, and if they produced at all for you.
We don't have problems with horn worms here. How are you controlling them. Insecticidal soap and BT-based insecticides work quite well when larvae are young so early detection and control is recommended.
@@dr_obisgarden, be thankful for not having them. They are almost impossible to see until the damage is done. Bt based insecticides in a soapy solution does work but if we are having a lot of rain it doesn't do much good.
