"like you can't argue with logic" I doubt Kyle actually yelled at her angrily. It was probably just a friendly "argument" between coworkers. If anything, it sounds like Jordyn was exaggerating Kyle's actions. If she gets offended because Kyle was asserting his opinion in a country where you have the right to free speech, that's her problem. She can't take her emotions out on him, the same way Kyle can't fault Jordyn for asserting her opinion on ice cream.

That's how life works though. You work your ass off to get to the top, and once your there you get the payoff. Like i'm sure Tyson (the boss) was once a minimum wage worker and had to climb the ladder in order to work less and make more. You know? I myself make 9.50 an hour and my boyfriend makes 25.00 an hour while doing less work than I do; which SUCKS, but he didn't get that job handed to him like I got mine handed to me, so I understand completely. Life is what you make it, and i'll get there someday.

Aliina Geshel No offense, but this is a super naive statement. Very rarely will anyone get to the state the original comment is talking about by working hard. Most of the time it’s luck of the draw from being born of the 1%, who do not work anywhere nearly as hard as you’re describing. Sorry, like maybe you’ll make enough to be comfortable, hopefully, but I’m sick of these statements that the reason people aren’t at the top is because they’re lazy or didn’t work or blah blah blah. @@x0ShYgIrL0x Read "Outliers" by Malcolm Gladwell. It's an interesting book about what it takes to become successful. Basically, luck, intelligence, determination, hard work, and connections. While it's not true that people who aren't successful are lazy (most of the time it's circumstance and bad luck), the people who make it to the top are usually very hard-workers.

Konekial first clue is that they work for a “general contractor”. If they were laborers, they would more than likely work for a subcontractor, like a concrete company or a steel erector. Second, that one girl is getting a master’s degree... does that sound like a laborer to you? Third... just look at them. They’re not laborers. Have you ever been to a construction site?

Off topic a little, women in a combat MOS in the Marine corps get time off and have physical restrictions if having a child. Which is crazy, because they are grunts. Shouldnt have a kid if you are a grunt in the infantry. Its a liability in a way.
