Cool I bought a bunch of these from the thrift store. Now I have some ideas.

I combined the denim pocket with the spool holder idea and added a pocket for my thimble and scissors on a really large one. great!! Thanks!!!

This video and ideas were awesome!! I had a friend come over unexpectedly around Christmas time when I was cleaning out my craft closet which is in my living room. She just started making mobiles with shells and she asked what do I do with all my embroidery hoops. I showed her the one on my wall where I had a bass print of the fish jumping out of the water and I stuffed the fish part (trapunto) and after the fish was stuffed with light fabric glue brushed over his scales I then dusted the fish lightly with Martha Stewart very fine silver glitter. Then around the back side of the hoop I put nice lace around. Dummy me I offered her some hoops and now I wish I was not generous. Isn't that terrible but, I am cheap and I stick to a budget and just the other day I was thinking I would like a clock in my sewing room and boy, now I want to make the button/hoop clock. Those battery operated clocks last a long time. I found a clock with one of those kits on the curb years and years ago and I still have the clock hanging in my living room and it keeps very good time. I love the blue jean pocket one too and you can even put your crochet hooks - long ones in the pocket and a light pair of scissors. I have one large hoop left and a couple baby ones. I have an old metal one too that was my grandmother's when she use to embroider our pillow cases. Boy, I cannot wait until I can retire - I am going to be so busy making crafts everyday.
