7 Day Roadtrip from California to Oregon: my itinerary! 

I love that the older I get the more I understand that I can control time. I can slow it down by literally taking a moment to enjoy the world around me and appreciating how far I’ve comes. This reminded me of my recent camp trip where we also had lots of long drives. Great convos, music from way back when, and nonstop snacks! The places you visited were the perfect mix of nature and city tourism. And Navi sitting on the all the benches... 🥺❤️ Perfect model! Loved how you ended your trip with glamping. Well deserved! I must say, you both chose great places to eat in Portland! Love Screendoor and Pine Street Biscuits 💜 I moved to Portland from the Bay Area at the beginning of the year and the nature has been my favorite part so far. Glad you got to see Haystack Rock! I'd also recommend seeing Vista House (just a good viewpoint), followed by Latourell Falls, Bridalveil Falls (where you can swim at the bottom), Fairy Falls, Multnomah Falls then Elowah Falls. They're all relatively close together. I'll definitely check out those campsites you went to!

Oregon is lovely with all the nature. Went there months ago in February. Next time Totally check out Silver Falls State park’s trails/Waterfalls. Simple gorgeous! Also Rachet Brewery Silverton. Can’t remember the other 2 spots. Great trip indeed though

Me watching the video and guessing all the spots you hit up before you arrived at each location by the landscape alone 😆 I definitely recommend visiting Bend next time for the Lava fields alone. They are such a neat experience! There is also Tamolitch Falls (aka the Blue Pool) which is absolutely stunning to look at. That's on the 126 Hwy going out to Bend (or going to Springfield depending on the direction you are coming from). Also on the 126 is Cougar Hot Springs which are natural hot spring pools you can stop and soak in. Tons of amazing things to do in Oregon if you know where to look 🌲🌲🌲

I LOVE POWELLS!! And now that the cafe there reopened, cannot wait to be back! ♥️ Also, if you go back, I recommend trying out “Harlow”. Delicious vegetarian/vegan food that’s simple but will keep you coming back xx

Portland, OR is home! I think you did a great job at hitting places here. Some places I’ve yet to visit as well!! Come back and visit the Pittock Mansions!

Oregon native here, next time you visit, explore other areas around portland, not just downtown. NW 23rd, Hawthorne, NE Alberta are a few areas. You can also check out other food places like sugarpine, stumptown, bamboo sushi, nong’s, eem, pips donuts. For hikes, eagle creek, angel’s rest, silver falls, Ramona falls, and a bunch more I can name off!

Love watching your camping trip! My husband and I just recently got into camping. Would love to get a list of all the campgrounds you stayed at in this video!

awwww so happy you and wah were able to come visit Oregon! we LOVE our food, our coffees, and our breweries (food carts especially!) and we're used to experiencing all the weather seasons in one day 😅 we're also a bit TOO friendly when it comes to driving (you could spend forever at a 4-way-stop because you insist the other drivers go ahead 😆) you'll definitely have to check out pip's mini doughnuts next time! (they have a chai flight and a lavender matcha latte which is *chefs kiss*) just up the street from them is nico's which has new zealand style ice cream and fire on the mountain has awesome chicken wing flavors and a "vegan wing". kure juice bar is always great to grab something before or after a hike 👍 (my hubby and i's favorite little sushi spot - yuubi's in beaverton!)

I did a pretty similar road trip last month! I also went to Portland (stumbled on tai peacock), Cannon Beach, Yaquina Lighthouse, and Tillamook! Wish I stopped at some of the other places though :)

Weylie, I would mention some new age music that is so good for meditation 🧘‍♀️ and it's by Peter Kater and there is two albums that come to mind and they are Light Body, which focuses on the Chakras of the body and the other one is from his elements series: water 💧. He has 4 other albums in the series, etheria, air, fire and earth. He also has a healing series, seems to be 5 volumes of that. I would recommend watching his video for the Heart Chakra which is filmed on a beach in Hawaii and has two young girls dancing, not sure who they are. He has other good music. You might like other artists like him. One is David Arkenstone and he has an album called Chillout Lounge and this year has a second compilation of that. Just look him up and he has so much good music. Sorry if I am rambling, but I had to mention this as you mentioned headspace.
