Alaska is nothing short of breathtaking. From the Kenai Peninsula to Denali National Park & everything in between (& beyond), this state left us speechless countless times. Think of this as a small documentary - a look into our real & raw moments while we journeyed through a state that’s been on our bucket list for years. Here’s a brief overview of what our time here looked like. We:
Hiked some incredible trails like Flattop Mountain (attempted) and Exit Glacier
Took an 8-hour boat tour in Kenai Fjords National Park to see orca whales, humpbacks, Aialik glacier, & so much more
Ate AMAZING food like salmon, halibut, & king crab
Took a shuttle bus through Denali National Park and hiked the park’s Savage Alpine trail
Saw more moose than we could keep track of
And through it all, had some high ups with the many views we and unfortunately some downs like catching a fever to getting caught in a hail storm. We hope you enjoy our journey through Alaska, and trust us - we want to come back someday to see more of the BEAUTIFUL place!
