I live in Japan not so far from Tokyo, but your vlog makes me realize there is so much more to explore in the city. Your perspective and observation is very interesting and give me fresh eye to look at my own culture. By the way I love the mini beer can, too. It’s a perfect size for me, so I always have it in my fridge😉
I loved this. I totally agree with you, more people should use a day off work to explore their home city and try and see it through a tourist's eyes. It's easy to get seriously desensitised to where you live and see every landmark as just a mundane daily sight on your way running errands or following familiar routes to familiar places. I also loved seeing that tiny can of beer. That's perfect for me too as I'm a shocking lightweight alcohol-wise these days and so is my husband; one can and he'd be really drunk and then fall asleep. I must be getting old, yikes!
Japan has a rich history and it is really one of the places on my bucket list! I'm excited to see what you are going to upload next as I want to see how your trip went! Also, have you tried using a duffle bag for your travel? I recommend using the Bento Bag from Nomad Lane. I've been using this bag as my personal item bag for months now and it is such a hack. I tried using packing cubes and they are amazing but now I switched to a duffle bag. Tried Nomad Lane's Bento bag and it's a good choice!
the shampoo/conditioners are good but also the water in Japan is soft compared to the US and other countries. My hair always gets softer when i'm in Japan :)
Was 7 days a lot in Tokyo? Would you recommend exploring other cities? Trying to plan my upcoming Japan trip and debating if should stay all 7 days in Tokyo or go to Osaka / Kyoto as well for few days
