EDIT: Sorry you guys! I totally messed up! There is NO snail mucin in Cosrx's sunscreen. I blame late night researching and the fact that I was also researching Cosrx's famous snail mucin essence before filming into this review. That being said, still love this sunscreen. Thanks to everyone who caught my mistake and let me know! 💗
yess same here! i have oily skin and i'm sensitive to fragrance, but for some reason, this is not only my favorite sunscreen, but literally my favorite skincare product i've ever tried. it reapplies beautifully too
@@XshopahollicsX Is your skin allergic to the fragrance it contains because I want to buy it but I'm afraid of allergies even though I have combination skin
I have sensitive skin and this is the best sunscreen I have ever used and I got oils skin, this counteracts me using Tretinoin. This can be drying but this works amazing to moisturise my skin, works really well on a hot day and your skin doesn’t feel like it’s clogged up 👍🙏
The fragrance is the bummer for me, I don't have any problem with fragrance in terms of skin sensitivity, but my nose is a little sensitive hence I felt as if I was having a little bit of a breathing problem after applying it. And I think I can never use this in the summer cause I become this oil grease ball which is the complete opposite for mr in the winter. In the winter , my skin becomes so dry that if I gently swipe my palm over my cheek, I find patches of dead skin cells.
The alcohol in Japanese and Korean sunscreens I feel helps to keep the skin appear and feel matte if oily and during the summer. Why I like them. Tho not so beneficial during winter as if you have combination skin, which tends to get dryer during the colder months, it can dry out your skin. Or worst case irritate and ruin your skin barrier...
I would give it a 10 on white cast...I have a pretty much brown skin and never noticed any white cast just a bit shiny...and yes not best for oily skin it feels a little greasy and hot to the skin but you can use it as a moisturizer and a sunscreen in the day time
@@dr.744 I would say yes, actually after this comment, I tried several sunscreens like Rovectin one and Missha essence and I would say Cosrx one is actually better of them and I’ll probably keep using this until I find a really really good one but this one works fine as well. although I can’t say sure but you should give it a try
I used regularly this product, one day i search the ingredients are they used, now i stopped to use this product 😊, check the ingredients, then your decision.
Is this sunscreen affected by the korean sunscreen controversy? Also, the ingredients you cited was not the same as whats on the box. Alcohol is not the 2nd ingredient and it does not have panthenol
Can anyone help me? I become very allergic to aloe vera when I directly apply the gel to my skin. My face feels very soothed but it appears to be really red and irritated and calms down quickly when I wash it off. Will this sunscreen have the same effect?
no way to be sure pal. for example, i have eczema and acne prone skin and i tend to use children and baby sunscreens because of this because my skin tolerates them better, but let me tell you not all of them work with my skin. formula is super important too. i realized my skin didn't seem to work well with a high percentage of aloe extract because of a aloe gel from nature republic. but funnily enough my skin is fine with another aloe product from nature republic and my skin also likes a really cheap aloe gel product that contains witch hazel. be careful, research, but most of all test the product.
It's hard to say, I would recommend a patch test near your jaw first to test it out! Plenty of other sunscreens on the market for sensitive skin though!
@@msk-qp6fn yeah I have very sensitive skin as well, I am currently using the Missha Essence spf 45 one and I mean it calms down the redness but makes my face appear very dark for some reason
@@sarahpalmyra omg thank you so much for replying! I was just watching your videos in instagram, love your work ❤️❤️, and I will try doing a patch test of that next time I hit the stores
i am skeptical of using this sunscreen again because idk if it passes the testing with everything going on with k sunscreen rn... with how moisturizing it is, do u use moisturizer underneath it?
Cosrx actually has posted a trial/result certificate on their website both tests by Korean and international lab. The result shows a real protection by this sunscreen, you can check it.🙂
that tends to be a trait of chemical sunscreens on combination/acneprone/oily skin. but i find that some are fine despite that because there's also a difference in the oiliness lol
Hi I think you misread the ingredients and was citing the ingredient list from their newer snail sunscreen...Would love to see a clarification on the comment and description section to not mislead your users.
Done! I apologize for the mistake--you're absolutely right! No snail mucin in this sunscreen at all. I blame late night researching and I was looking into their snail mucin as well and must have gotten confused. Thanks for double checking! I will edit the description and comment section!
Try the hero cosmetics sunscreen! It’s a white and green bottle, it’s helped my skin a lot!!!! I’m a grease box and it has DRASTICALLY reduced my oil and dries out my zits. I’m also dark skinned :)
@@trxnqui for me it looks okay under makeup but after a few hours with the mask on and one accidentally face rub and it pills off. (Keeping in mind that I chemically exfoliate to avoid this problem) Also when I sweat it's chalky white as a result of the sunscreen
