Hi Rebecca! You are very kind -- thank you! First, we have the benefit of good genes (big props to our ancestors!) We try to follow a Mediterranean diet, focusing on eating whole, non-processed foods. We are not vegetarians/vegans, but eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. We eat very little red meat and instead eat fish, chicken, and turkey. Also, we try to follow the advice in the Whole Body Reset, a book that focuses on diets for seniors. Here is a link to our interview with the author: bit.ly/3JTdlVM One of the biggest takeaways is to space out protein intake throughout the day -- aiming for 25g of protein at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Thank you so much! We understand that it can be difficult to get your heel back due to tightness in your thighs. A gentle way to alleviate tightness in your front thighs is with self massage. With the heel of your hand, apply gentle pressure on your front thigh moving from your hip to above your knee. You can move your hands to the inner and outer sides of your thigh to get at different parts of your thigh muscles and your iliotibial band (a band that runs from your hip to your knee area on the outside of your thigh). My mom does this and it helps her with that kickback move. We hope this is helpful. Please let us know how it goes. ❤️
