Oh my goodness! I love your video! I bought a condo in Puerto and am going there to live in 2 weeks. It is about an 8 minute drive to the beach. Thank you for the video of Puerto Morelos.
Great video, glad I found this channel! My fiancé and I are planning our honeymoon and looking for the exact kind of relaxed vibe y'all described. 😊 Very very helpful
Thanks for watching Andre! Yes, we're looking at doing a longer Chichen Itza experience than the ones we could find out of PM. Maybe spend a night or two in Valladolid, explore the area, etc.
Hello fellow Canadians! My husband and I love both of your videos about Puerto Morelos. We're planning on going and wondering where you stayed? And/or which hotels you recommend. Thanks so much!
Hi Gayle! Thanks for the kind words. We actually stayed in an Airbnb apartment, one of our all-time favourites. It was awesome having our own cool apartment in Puerto Morelos, only steps from the beach. The link for the Airbnb can be found in the description of our video. The host is super sweet and responsive. We don't have any hotel recommendations, though there are many to choose from.
@@GayleFriend Oh no! Our apologies. We had the snorkeling tour listed, but not our apartment. We've added it now in case you want to have a peek. Sorry! www.airbnb.ca/rooms/689145934144789483
Hi, if you're staying in the hotel zone, is the town walkable? Or should we hire a scooter or car? We're looking at Collectivo and ADO busses to get to other locations but want to stay 3 or 4 days in Puerto Morelos. Thank you!
What is your opinion on PM as a retirement location? Is there enough to do and could you live on a budget of 2k per month for a couple? ( not sure if you checked on long term rentals?). Maybe a local could respond also?
Hi Jodie! We didn't really check into long term rentals in Puerto Morelos, so we're not entirely sure whether that budget would work. Our experience was that PM was fairly pricey by Mexico standards, but probably a bit better relative to the rest of the Maya Riviera. There's plenty to do because you can explore the whole coast, but it's still a beach community, so it's fairly relaxed when it comes to activities. Probably depends on how busy and active you like to be!
Good video but your background music is so loud it drowns out your voices. Very distracting. You’re not the only one that does this. I don’t understand because it compromises the quality of good videos.
