how many women are building sky scrappers today? how many woman are in all types of heavy construction work? Would you see anyone of these Ladies doing so?? the answer is no! Why? because they are not equal to men in this type of setting of heavy heavy hard work.

I used to think feminism was good. I was like "valid, women should have the choice and the same rights as men. We get to choose what to do so why can't women right?" But then questions like the draft were unanswered. Then there was also things like women who didn't want the right to vote (majoriy) and now I question if feminism was ever good.

I grew up in the late seventies early eighties and I know it was like a dirty word to admit you wanted to be a wife and aspired to be a domestic goddess, well I loved being a mom and being domestic and never was afraid to shout it out. Always thought women’s lib and feminists were just very sad depressed and angry women.

I am an extremely independent woman, but I am also 47, have had my kids, and am tired of the bs from both the left (extreme feminism) AND the right (going back to the 1950s). I know that there are some things that I would need a guy for, but I know that guys are likely to die first. Thus, I already know how to take care of myself IF I were ever to remarry. I'd be in that situation now, if my alcoholic ex-husband were alive and hadn't killed me by now. I was raised to believe I "need" a guy around so I wouldn't be lonely the rest of my life. Um, what about when he dies? Hurry up and marry someone else? No thanks. I've been taking care of myself for 14 years since my divorce, and I don't regret it nor do I feel "lonely". I have the peace and quiet I never would have gotten in my marriage. The draft for women was never enforced, nor was it included in the final amendment. That's why it isn't taught in public schools. One reason why women where I live make more than guys is because more women work AND most younger guys are unemployed or work under the table. Some guys from my generation are that way, but more so with the younger generations. The military will not draft 2 parents (if both are in the military) if the couple have children under a certain age. The military also used to not draft guys with no sons or with sons too young to work and care for the family.....if they could help it.

Charlie didn't say there is a wage gap, he said would you be ok if that meant men would make more.

I’ll be honest, when men have to fall back to the draft to show their unique value, we are in trouble. The draft is very strong in the sense that it is life changing and life threatening, but the last draft was 50 years ago and the previous draft was 20 years before that.

I’m 73 years old. I sure didn’t want to stay at home through all of my kids.… But I did for some. What I did love to do was businesses. I had a snowcone stand that I could take my youngest to. I had a Coffee House where I could take my teenager to hang out safely. You don’t have to be a complete stay at home mom and be forced that way. There are so many options in the world! You just have to figure them out🙂

And to be fair, for MOST men being the CEO of a corporation isn't even that appealing. We often forget that it's such a small percentage of men even pursue that level in their career. First, it's highly competitive and second, the guys who do it work ALL of the time. Their life is work.

I was included in the draft lottery as a college sophomore. My number was 174. Several of the guys on my floor of the dorm were drafted and left school in the middle of the term.

I cant side with anything feminist till women can get drafted too. The thought that I can go and become crippled or outright die just so women can go on the main stream, school curriculum and dismiss how me, and others have lost our live, our body parts and make everything about how "they're oppressed". Here is what is brothering me which I will get negative comments about. I see and hear the word women pronounced incorrectly on most of these types of programs. When the word women is pronounced wrong it sounds uneducated.

What's annoying is how young people including the host of this channel don't know the difference in the way they pronounce "woman" or "women" singular and plural. They use the singular for plural. Get educated people.
