Dont be scared of the ball especially in school when I was your age I was always scared of the ppl who were bigger than me just barge a lot and out them in pressure
As long as you know when and how to do it and don’t just boot it every time it comes to you. Once you’ve mastered it it kind of ties in to being more calm and composed on the ball
what I like to do something is when I'm on the sidelines and I'm cornered I like to hit it off the other guy's legs at an angle for the free throw-in and make a play from there. Normally works out pretty well but I mess up sometimes and hit it out of bounds
7. Play well 6. Defend well 5. Be confident 4. Don’t make mistakes 3. Always win the ball 2. Don’t let opposition to trick you 1. Be a great defender That’s it guys! I hope this helps you to be successful in defense
Boot it out when in doubt ? Well if you’re playing champions league maybe ... but is this your advice for young players ? Are you English mate ? Haha 😂 don’t boot it out !!! Try to find a way out playing the ball !!! Improve that !!! Play play play ... and then ... obviously be like Ramos ... Van dijk is a beginner comparing to the master. Just compare their trophies 🏆 and career. By the way good luck with his injury too ...
Cool we need to be positionally smart but in what situations? Give us examples. How can we improve if you don’t know where to be. You need to become smarter but you don’t know how.
It changes based on what is happening in the game. This is where soccer IQ comes in. Best way to get a feel for this (outside of simply getting match experience) is to watch players like Van Dijk and study their positioning, movement, etc

Make a video on how to get into the right mood before a game or a training session.Thats what I need to work on especially when I’m playing after school

I'm wide and I have a good body and bigger compared to my friends so whenever I take the ball after defending then they fall and say it's my fault and they're the ones who came into me like it's so annoying not bcz I'm not as good as them they keep taking fouls and penalties for no reason
