Pte. S. Baldrick, 2/5thBn Royal Loamshires, Warminster Garrison 1915 is credited with playing only one Triangle note on the occasion off the battalion setting off for France. That one single note is reputedly the most musical thing any member of the Baldrick clan had done since 1501. And it was out of tune.
@@zachgould1989 That is true, but one of the entire 2 is kinda strange, especially when one is a 6th grader with lung problems that can't play without wheezing like hes a 50 yr old after he smoked a cigar and the other one is a highschooler who has broke his instrument multiple times.
Me, before watching this video: "Oooo, I bet they'll do the Universal theme! And that sad piece from Star Wars, and, and..." Me, after watching this video: "I am uncultured swine."
@@enjibkk6850 that crossed my mind, but I couldn't recall if that was a trumpet or French horn from memory. Listening to it again, it does sound like a French horn. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QwxYiVXYyVs.html
I remember when I played sax in our local orchestra, and this french horn allways set the calm and serine mood of the ballads. It's just such a round and embrasing tone. I love it.
My first cousin played French horn in high school marching band--a real challenge. My friend and I just happened to end up directly behind the French horns when singing Haydn's "Four Seasons" with the Jacksonville Symphony chorus. During the concert at the University of Florida in Gainesville the horns got "spitted up" during the finale, which consisted of brass fanfares alternating with vocal amens. The da, da, da, da das came out more like sputter, sputter, sputter. We couldn't help but break up, which elicited an icy stare from the conductor.
For the 1812 Overture, does anyone remember that one Little Einstein’s episode where it went “We’re helping Leo save the unicorn”? Cuz it’s like 10 years later and that’s still all I hear every time I listen to the 1812 overture
Yes... A great video. I am glad you are Bach at the piano already! Some of those pieces I knew but forgot the names. I do hope you are feeling better now!
