A lot of gay people are built, not born. Social conditioning and sexual abuse made them the way they are. I read an interview about a young man who was molested by his brother as a kid. These actions caused him to become attracted to the same sex and it became an addiction that he faced for many years afterward. He said that he still faces temptation, but is fighting through it. The difference between between him and other gay man is a matter of strength and complacency. This was not intended to offend anyone

I never went through any sexual abuse or conditioning and I’m still gay. Sexual abuse does not determine sexual orientation. Queer people are at a higher risk of being abused by other people because of their queerness which can make it seem like the abuse “turns” them gay when in reality that’s not the case. Even if that were the case, what’s wrong with being gay?

For example, people who self-harm or attempt to end themselves get put into facilities and held there until a psychiatrist deems them ready to leave, and this can result in pretty major debt. It happened to me. They make you pay, and I was only held for 3 days because my issue was not so serious. People can be held there for weeks to months against their will and then forced to pay thousands and thousands. I know, I know, a serious comment.
