I won't forget the energy Columbia had that whole week. Georgia fans started streaming in days before - we had never seen that at Mizzou. Years later, I was in Chicago when you all took over Wrigley Field. Thank you for welcoming us to the best conference in college sports, and especially for coming halfway across the country to do it.

Big respect for your dogs. I am a bama fan but I always loved the dawgs from the east. Always rooted for them against florida and auburn. Much respect. Hopefully we can meet again next year in the championship game for round two.

Welcome to the SEC...but next time you want to insult our "old man football', maybe do it at the end of the season. GA and SC are just the beginning. Every SEC team is looking to properly introduce you guys. ;)

They played in that game.... Rambo missed a game changing interception on the first drive

Those teams can get upset too, Missouri played a bad game themselves even while leading before their coach blew it on a fake punt and Jones went HAM making it a blowout on the scoreboard. They have plenty of play makers on offense and still haven't got their big time recruit Green-Beckham into the offense yet and have their star RB out for the season with knee injury, they could use a player like JJ on defense but their main need is quality depth, that's what got exposed Saturday night.

They didn't have all their starters coming in either, but that's part of SEC depth. At the top Missouri can compete on the top level of the SEC right now. But their players will get tired without much playable depth and if someone key goes down they can get exposed quick. If they drop a few of the slow devolving gimmick plays and add some depth they will be contenders in the East far quicker than most want to give them credit for, this game was way closer than what the final score indicates.

they should've thrown at bowman and norman all night. they may have won had they picked on them a bit more. Both of those guys were lost, scared and behind that whole game.
