I’ll tell you what, if you ever end up in a cruise and you happen to see or film enough trains, maybe you should put a video together on JUST the trains you’d be seeing that day, that’d be really cool
Thank you so much for sharing this! I've seen the advertisements for ACL but never saw any reviews or videos about them so thank you thank you for this!
Actually, I'm saving that for a future video that will show what "normal" cabins on that ship look like, and also what the two different types of suites look like... so that people can decide if they want to pay the big bucks to upgrade to a suite rather than stay in one of the regular cabins.
Hi JIm, I've really enjoyed all your ACL videos. I have two questions for you - which of the ACL cruises, east of the Mississippi, have you enjoyed most? My wife and I have taken the Alaska, Puget Sound, and Columbia River cruises with ACL and we are ready to head east! And what drone are you flying for your river cruise videos? Thanks!
I like country music... so, for me, the favorite has been the Tennessee Rivers cruise, because it includes seeing a show at the Grand Ole Opry. But if going to the Grand Ole Opry is not on your bucket list, there's a lot of interesting things to see on the Maine coastal cruise.
I'm not leaving RU-vid... just slowing down a bit as far as how often I create new videos... and focusing more on travel videos rather than model train videos.
Hello JimZim . I want to tell you about some new thomas and friends g scale items Bachman has made . They made a museum coach and break coach for Toby to pull and toffee and water tankers for Percy to pull with his troublesome trucks and finally a figure of the fat controller himself. They’re on the website right now . I would like to see reviews on them please I would really like that . Thanks and please respond . Bye 👋🏽
Hi Maxwell I saw that on Bachmann's web site, too. However, I feel like I have enough model trains in my collection right now, and don't anticipate buying the new museum coaches or any other train stuff this year. So, I won't be doing any videos about those. You may have noticed that it's been quite a while since I made a new model train video, and that lately most of my videos have been about other things like cruise ships. This is probably the way it will be on my channel for at least the rest of the year. I do have an idea for one more model train video, using the existing trains in my collection, but other than that... I'm thinking that almost all of my videos for the rest of the year will be about things other than model trains. Sorry! But of course, all the model train videos I've made over the years will remain on my channel, and you are able to continue watching those anytime.
Yes, they bring me aboard at their expense because they like the publicity they get from my RU-vid videos and also because I provide them with photos and videos that they can use in brochures, social media, etc.
I've kind of lost interest in setting up the trains. It's a LOT of work to create the big layouts that I've featured in my videos, and the older I get the more uncomfortable it is to kneel down or crawl around on hands and knees to set up tracks. So, lately I've focused more on creating travel videos than model train videos. I do still own all the model train equipment, and I do have an idea for a new model train video featuring some neighbor kids... but it may be a few months before that idea becomes an actual video.
