Those magnetic cables are such a cool idea! I read the other comments on this video, sorry to hear about Wolfie as a cat owner myself I would hate to see my cat get sick and it would definitely mess with my mind too, hope he’s doing better now. Mad respect for you to upload a video while going through such a tough time.

Thank you for the kind words! Luckily he’s on the mend today feeling better and should be back on track by Sunday or Monday. Such an insane scenario, you know it’s wild when the vet seems to be as shocked as we were by all of it. Pros and cons to working through all of this, I took a ton of time off for his surgeries he needed last year and don’t think it felt much better. Working through it and making videos was mostly a welcomed distraction this time around in comparison. Glad he’s starting to feel better and we should be good soon, I do have a slight break next week too so that’ll help all of us recoup a bit.

Pocket watch definitely makes sense for the origin. Crazy about the power bricks for sure, ugreen just released their nexode pro line too which have different wattages but are equally crazy.

I'm a big fan of the Evergoods CPL24 and CAP2. I have both in the black Griffin edition with waxed canvas. The nice thing about the CAP2 is that it doubles as my desk caddy when traveling. It sits so nicely when opened. I liked the black griffin so much I also picked up the tan griffin version of the CPL 24 and CAP 2.

The griffin lineup looked so good! Was really disappointed that I missed the 3.5L griffin hip pack before they sold out. Asked them about it and they said it was a limited run, hoping they restock at some point

Sorry to hear about your dog! I still think about my two family dogs we lost over my life pretty often. Wolfies in somewhat rough shape right now but recovering well, he’s had a tough few years but is a fighter.

Agree on the Evergoods Civic Access Pouch. I find its size, design and usefulness just about perfect. I use it onboard when flying for tech and first aid bits, or on my desk for all tech. I think I might have to get another one just because ...

It takes a lot to surprise and impress me this much after trying so many pouches over the years, but you’re totally right. Such a great design, build quality is also excellent. In a dream scenario (for me) they’d partner with pioneer carry and make a 3xd fabric version of it, it’d be unstoppable haha.

Extra little front pocket is where I keep my money clip. Virtually impossible to lose or get pickpocketed. Other than my jeans, I wear 5 pocket pants almost exclusively just for money-clip security. FYI currently use Tightwad brand clip carrying 4 credit cards, 3 ID cards, 2 biz cards and usually 7-10 bank notes. Barely even prints in 5th pocket. No minimal wallet can compete with money clip imho.

I've been using Western Rise pants for many years. I wear the Diversion Pants for the office and have taken off right after on camping trips without changing. The top pocket is designed for phones, but I keep my wallet there myself.

I use top pocket for my AirPods Pro case. I keep my keys in the main pocket on that side, so it’s nice to separate the two & avoid dings on the AirPods case.

It’s kind of a gray area. I’ve flown with mine without any flags or issues, but technically batteries that are 101-160wh are allowed in carry on luggage with ‘airline approval’. Not sure what that entails for getting approval but the general consensus online as well as my personal experience is that they don’t seem to care if it looks like a normal consumer power bank.

Some of these, like the projector and the pants, dont really feel like travel accessories. Especially driving home that you use the projector at home. I think that first cable is really interesting, but both that and the yellow one both seem ineficient, but if nothing else interesting. Great quality video i just hope for more interesting and useful products, cant wait for more!

I totally get what you mean, but a bit of context might help explain a bit more. The projector is definitely more of a car/road trip type of travel item for me, I’ve used the previous model on a ton of trips and it’s been such a joy to bring along but probably too big for typical flights. I do a ton of camping and car travel though since getting a car a couple of years ago. The pants are definitely designed and marketed as travel pants, I’d use them for travel but probably not for every day. People seem to really love them though as the GOAT travel pant so I wanted to see what the fuss was about. Genuinely appreciate the kind words and feedback though! Probably didn’t give enough time in the planning/research stage to add a few more compelling items. My cats been in and out of the emergency room the past week or two and my brain’s a bit scattered. Bigger and better videos to come for sure!

Glad to hear it helped! It’s always so tough to balance this sort of thing in the video edit. I cut out so much for time and attention but it’s a fine line where you might lose too much in the process. My cats doing okay now luckily, apologies for being gross but he had really severe constipation and extreme pain since NYE. 3 vet visits and way too much money later they were able to put him under yesterday and manually remove it. Still have a rough few days ahead while he heals up but the worst seems to be over.

Sorry to hear this! I always do my best to find interesting items for these types of videos. Outside of BenQ being the video sponsor with the GV31 no other companies or products are sponsoring the video. I do get review samples from time to time for most videos but there isn’t any requirement to share (a rule of mine I set with anyone who wants to send out samples) and definitely no payment exchanged.

Seemed fine to me. Most people with similar channels have sponsored products, just gotta keep that in mind when the reviewer talks about that specific product. I trust Josh to honestly review products though. It’s not like he’s out here saying that Raycons are the best wireless earbuds
