Habit will sustain you whether you're inspired or not. Successful people are simple those with successful habits. We get to reach where we are now because of what we constantly do productively each day. Thanks for the advice !
So, when I'm having a good time with a friend I tell them that now I have to go cause I have three more things on my schedule to accomplish? It seems to me that If you schedule every minute it sorta kills spontaneity. Doing certain things depends on your mood, you can't decide in advance how you're gonna feel tomorrow. Especially when you're doing something creative, when you're in a zone of flowing ideas, you will not stop in the middle cause your calendar says you should be eating lunch. No doubt that having daily routines is beneficial and important for you health and productivity, but don't forget to listen to your feeling and intuition. I would add this up, otherwise you're doing a great content which is always nice to watch.
That’s a dilemma I go through sometimes and what always helps me is this concept of discipline+surrender=flow. I think we have to put intuitive decision making and flow/spontainity into this processes and habits without indulging in hedonism to much :)
this video almost made me cry and i don't know why :( haha i've been sooo uninspired and sad lately, i feel dumb, like a i can't accomplish anything, like i don't focus, i'm not productive and i feel super lonely :( but this has inspired me to start fresh and get a new routine, thank you i'll definetely be doing everything that you advice :)
Don’t feel dumb, you aren’t dumb! Feeling unproductive happens to everyone and with the current state of the world a lot of people are feeling the same way as you! 💕Good luck with attempting to get back on track, even if you aren’t able to be productive at completing tasks at first but can manage to get some self care done, then that is a huge step in the right direction! Nika made a wonderful point of saying how important self care is, it can drastically change how productive you are because it helps set you up with a better mindset to complete your tasks. It may be overwhelming to try to do everything at once and if that is the case then pick one or two daily goals or tasks, do them and then slowly add more tasks each day, before you know it you will be inspired again and feeling better! Go easy on yourself, you are human just like the rest of us! 😌

needed this right now, especially the comparison part. been avoiding stories on IG and was feeling a bit lost. exercising really helps! im doing jump rope while jamming to music and having a lil dance break in between. =)
I got really amped for a morning powerwalk when you suggested exercising in the morning. With daylight savings it gets really dark early in the evenings and I feel uncomfortable with going out walking after nightfall.
Daylight savings is the worst! I hear you on this! Do you have friends that could join you for a jaunt in the evenings in order to get that safe end of day exercise in?

What a great video and insight! You are definitely right about how to deal with comparison. Once we learn to stop comparing ourselves to others the energy shift is SO amazing and can change so much of ourselves and life 😊
Btw, I just listened an episode of your podcast from two years ago and it's funny what you said then about yourself: "I am not organized in a way that I have a schedule that I stick to the schedule. I can stick to a schedule for maybe two days and then... It's just not for me, I cannot do it. And I can try and force myself and I've been trying to do that for the past 20 years and It doesn't work for me. My brain doesn't work like that." 😂
