#7 Haftarah Vayetze - Parallels about how Israel went out, prepared for marriage, and then returned!

This week’s haftorah mentions Jacob‘s flight from home to the “field of Aram,” an episode that is recounted in this week’s Torah reading and Rabbi Isaac reveals how Jacob leaving Israel, then prepared for marriage before returning to the Land of Israel parallels about how the descendants of Israel also went out from the eretz Israel, and are now preparing for marriage to Messiah in foreign lands, and are prophesied to soon returned the land of their inheritance!
The haftorah begins with the prophet Hosea‘s rebuke of the Jewish people for forsaking God. Nevertheless, Hosea assures the people that God will not abandon them: “How can I give you, Ephraim, and deliver you [to the hands of the nations]? . . . I will not act with My fierce anger; I will not return to destroy Ephraim.”
The prophet discusses the misdeeds of the Northern Kingdom of Israel, and the future degeneration of the Kingdom of Judea. He contrasts their behavior to that of their forefather Jacob who was faithful to God and prevailed against enemies, both human and angelic.
The haftorah also makes mention of the ingathering of the exiles which will occur during the Final Redemption: “They shall hasten like a bird from Egypt and like a dove from the land of Assyria; and I will place them in their houses, says the Lord.”

I must know if the Sabbath is a gift to Israel and needs to be given to us who are know awaking to know who our Yeshua is and all he expects from us, or do we just have to, at this time, do the best we can, under the circumstances, to keep this commandment? I really need to know if he understands that were are basically in captivity, with no place to worship and living in a society that is well founded in a way to prevent us from fulfilling his will concerning this. Is it true that the name of Jesus, who does not, follow Torah, is idol worship. please advise me as to what I can do to keep his commands against the problems created by Satan at this time in history. thankyou and blessings.

The 7th day Shabbat rest was created at creation for all mankind, and God put a special blessing in that day and sanctified it as Holy so that those who would also rest following his example would receive the blessing and be sanctified and separated from the world as his holy people! Three places in scripture God says “this is My sign between me and my people, those that keep my shabbat's. No matter what the false Babylonian system has instituted, each individual is able to rest expressing their freedom in Yah no matter where they live. Isaiah 58:13 says, “Keep the Sabbath day holy. Don’t pursue your own interests on that day, but enjoy the Sabbath and speak of it with delight as the LORD’s holy day. Honor the Sabbath in everything you do on that day, and don’t follow your own desires or talk idly.” (NLT) Hope this helps encourage you! Many blessings!

He came as a Hebrew speaking Hebrew to Hebrews. He has a Hebrew name. He came in His Father's name, Yah. Yashua. Or Yahshua. Meaning salvation is of Yahavah. His name is not a Greek word. It is insulting to Him to call Him by a Greek word. He has 1 name, Yashua. Praise Hahavah, Yashua is the Son of Yahavah!

Wonderfull teaching, Question? The curse on Ephraim was 7 times bringing us to 2008... was there a curse on Judah that has to play out in a matter of time?

I'm hoping someone can help me with this...I respect and greatly admire the Jewish people. But, I do know there's a difference between Jewish lineage and Judaism. I simply open my Bible and follow the Torah as written (I also use the Apocryphal books when it applies to Torah). I understand that there was an "oral" Torah handed down by by the Fathers before things were written down by Yahuah at Mount Sinai. How do I know, as just waking up to Torah for the last 2 years, what it is I'm supposed to be doing that's of Yahuah and NOT of the Talmud? I listen to both Rabbis and men of Torah that are not Jewish. I learn from ALL of them. I know we're supposed to be learning from our brother Judah. How do I discern what is Talmudic and of Judaism? I don't want to swing completely the wrong way and mislead my children. Judaism added to His Word and Christianity took away from His Word. This path is so narrow. Just want to make sure I'm following it according to His Word and not man. Thank you in advance!
