Splitting 2s versus 6 is good but not on online blackjack . splitting from 2s to 7s is justified only when you Have option ^Resplit and ^double after split. if u don't have that option ur risking another( splitted) bet for nothing.

Why is doubling a 9 against an 8 crazy to you? Pretty standard imo. Also doubling soft 19 and 20s against lower cards is also pretty standard. I don't really see how that is out of the ordinary.

naa in my opinion i dont think its standard .. im kind of a stickler for basic blackjack strategy .. basic blackjack strategy books say a 9 is only a double against solid bust cards like 4,5,6 ..but eh its alll personal preference at the end of the day
