Guys, the funny thing is I didn't get surprised by none of the FT Island members lmao they are just so free that it wouldn't surprise me. Also, I don't rlly find underage smoking or drinking wrong if you are 16 or 17 years old already. It's bad for your health, but at that age they are not kids anymore, and while still being easily impressionable, they already know how to distinguish wrong from right. I smoked and drank when I was a minor, so I am nobody to judge them for that.

It's one of those "illegal" things that we all do, it's part of learning how to be an adult. We often forget idols are not robots, they're human and they're just like us.

Many of the photos here, are just them being around alcohol or cigarettes. And they were in a large group with probably many adults. You can’t confirm it was them drinking or smoking. Also you don’t know how old this was, some of them might have been legal already.

I know I’m really late on commenting on this but I kind of find it ridiculous that this video has been uploaded. Everyone when there young experiment. Also to suggest that it is awful is wrong. Not everyone in the kpop industry is going to be a non-smoker or a non drinker. Alcohol is also known sometimes to take away stress same goes for smoking.

To be honest, the most critical issue probably is that they got caught. I assume many pictures where taken pre-debut and should have never been made public. Or the idols were too careless and reveiled themselves. Many minors have had their sip, right? I don't think that it is such a big deal because underage drinking is pretty common in Austria. I just think that it's important to drink alcohol in a responsible way. To me that means that you don't drink only to get drunk and forget about your life and that you don't drink every day. If you want to consume alcohol you should do so because you like how it tastes and not because you seek the relief you get from it. To be fair tho: That probably doesn't happen a lot when teenagers are throwing a party. However, I am strictly against underage smoking because I have a few people like that in my class. Smoking doesn't only harm your body it also harms and affects others (passive smoking) and if you have to sit beside someone that smokes maybe people think you do too because of the smell and the cigarette packages on the desk etc. This can damage your image and get you in trouble

I dont see why its a scandal, probably because I'm from America and most teens here drink and smoke anyway. I drank in highschool with my bestfriend but never smoked. It actually kinda helps beat alcohol addiction. Everyone i know, including me, who drank underage is now out of their alcohol phase. I barely ever go drinking. Only a few times a year for special occasions like birthday, or a holiday.
