I had to smile when you talked about slipping the kicks between the hands. I was playing around with the six-stroke roll and put the singles between the doubles and it struck me that that could be a groove...so I've been working on it. I'm pretty sure somebody else has done that...but I just haven't come across that. Anyway, I love the idea of mixing up licks and or rudiments...I'm just getting into inverting...

Although you only play like 1 bar of it , breaking down or developing that groove on the ride bell would be really cool! 13:02
