FYI, code doesn't work if you also take advantage of their free cable promo as well, bit of a bummer. So either 7.50 off or a $10 cable for free. Still seems a good option for charging abroad
I bought the exact phone holder for each member of my family 😊. My young adult children love it so much. They hook it on the handle of their carry-on luggage and watch movies at the airport.
I'll have to say that the song XM4s have an advantage over the XM5s in that they fold down into a more travel friendly profile when you're not using them. Sound quality and noise cancelling is comparable but microphone isn't as good when talking to someone over Bluetooth.
Many of the people who love Band of Brothers...and rightly so...have watched it so many times that they know it intimately. Viewers of Masters of the Air have really only seen it once. B of B had a problem initially, too, in that people complained that they couldn't know the characters because "they are all wearing helmets...I don't know who is who"...and the reviews reflected that.
I think that Wirecutter recommends the Epicka as well, but I switched to the Mogics Super Bagel to be more functional. I bought the Nitecore battery after seeing it getting a top rating on Pack Hacker. However, the Anker 521 doubles as a charger with 2 USB-C ports and a battery bank, but with half the capacity of the Nitecore.
Ive seen you recommend a lot that you look for items with dual purpose. So I'm interested as to why youd recommend the nitecore and the separate tripod over something like one of the anker 10000mAh magsafe power banks given that the anker ones have a built in kick stand and can charge iphones (and other phones with a magsafe case) wirelessly, removing the need for a cable when on the go if you only need to charge a phone, whilst still having the ability to charge with a usb-c if needed.
I have the phone holder and I love it. As for the cables, I use the retractable multi usb cords - mind you it won't be for high powered devices but it's great for slow charging devices.
1:41 for this one, i tend to use my hairbands.. i loop my long cables in lose hoops and tidy them into place with one of my 100s of hairbands. My partner enjoys the versatility of a good, simpl, classic hairband and uses them for all manner of things also! Maybe the Mrs has some hairbands in every room of the house?
I've only watched the first minute of this and I've gotten the same exact phone mount as a secret santa gift. I've used it on a total of 3 flights so far and it's really good. Adjusting it can be loud, other than that I think it's a good item if you watch on your phone instead of the IFE.
The ultimate Tech purchase for travels for me, has been the Xreal Air 2 Pro AR glasses With the size of a normal sunglass, they can project to the equivalent of a 120 inch screen within the glasses! Super immersive to watch any video from your phone or link it up with a console like a nintendo switch! Economy flights never felt so entertaining lol
Epicka worked well on our trip. Doesn’t have a ground plug so you can’t use a hair dryer. In other videos they recommend a “bagel.” It does not work in France, the prongs are not long enough.
Thanks for this video really appreciate the info. I am trying to scale down on my tech weight. Any tall stable tripod recommendations? Must be very lightweight and at least 5foot!!!
What kind of power adapter would you recommend for traveling mostly in Europe? I don’t think I need a power converter since all of my devices are dual powered including my hair iron. But I do want the power adapter to be capable of charging several devices at the same time. Preferably with plugs that look like the American ones , since I plan to charge my iPhone with Apple’s 20W white little brick . Thanks
While the MagTame magnetic cables won’t tangle, they appear to be very bulky since each coil stacks on top of another. Therefore they simply eliminate one problem only to gain another.
There's nothing wrong with still using a phone with lightning. I have the iPhone 13 Mini and am going to try to keep it going for as long as possible because I love the size. I don't love having to carry lightning cables along with USBC (for everything else) but having the size of my 13 Mini is worth it.
These are 1964 Ears - 4 Drivers (I'm a drummer and have used these for live performances for about 10 years now). A much much older version of these: www.64audio.com/pages/design-customs?model=A4s
I keep seeing your pushing the Epicka TA-105 PRO. The bad thing is Samsung phones (which a lot of people own) are NOT dual voltage. Yes iPhones are, which I assume you use but the other half the of the world that uses Android really can't use this adapter without a voltage adapter.
