The Magufuli bridge in Mwanza has a length of 3200m and a width 0f 28m is consideres the longest bridge in East Afrika. Construction started in 2019 at an estimated cost $306.88 million.

I think you are not updated so far. Even Tanzanite Bridge is longer than those mentioned to be 450m long. Currently, Magufuli Bridge which is under construction is the longest crossing lake Victoria. The Central Pylons are taller enough to allow for the navigable vessels to cross. It has a total length of 3500m [3.5km]
