@zizaran I feel like there are a lot of non boss non telegraphed attacks here that kills you in a shorter time span than you can realistically react to. I think the general effective heath pools should increase at the cost of block and dodge so that in general you get killed in a longer time span than 400ms while mapping but shouldn't be able to nullify through life on block or dodge/evasion. What thoughts do you have?

this is why I switched from HC to SC - it's kinda fun to rip when you're streaming, but unfun on your own (with not that much time to play)

Quick question to all the veterans here: How do you handle losing a character and starting all the way from the bottom again? I mean, not the gears part but grinding through the whole story again, the labs etc. I just reached maps for the first time Ziz's Detonate dead build but bricked the build by pretty much wasting my main chest piece and running out of crafting currency. Then started a new character and slowly made my way back to maps again. Now grinding through tier 3 maps and the eternal lab trials. I keep hearing people say HCSSF is super fun but I'm scared of just losing characters and grinding through everything again

It amuses me that of all Ziz's deaths, het got clapped by Veritania twice to exactly the same mechanic lol

I have question about the nerf that’s happening in the game and I wish someone can answer it from the dev If a player who played the game for years and have a lot of hours in the game and he know everything about the game got one shot killed. so what do you think the new player to the game will experience how many times he will die is he going to like the game or hate it. Is he having fun playing it or not. is he will keep playing or delete it and play something else. Elite dangerous have one update that’s almost killed the player base of the game there is news about it all the players start playing another game called star citizen and they loved it even the streamers start doing videos on RU-vid about it and end up streaming the game. My point here do what is good for Poe but please don’t make it the game people hate to play and don’t want to play because it’s so hard think about new players coming to the game

What kills him at 3:05 ? he loose 3.8k instantly in merciless lab, he dodges izaros slash attack but i guess its possible he kinda didnt due to lag, but even then your not gonna loose 3.8k in merciless lab from that. 3.8k is enough to survive that slash in uber lab..

Sole reason why I quit PoE. One shots got old quick.

Some of these were deserved. Some of these are a reason I don't play HC anymore... (Yup, I'm a scrub)

Because of the first death... i want a minion walk button like in last epoch... not gonna lie!

See, this is why this game makes me so mad. Deaths are almost always BS that you can't see coming. I don't know how ANYONE plays HC. It makes no sense to lose 40+ hours of progress over some dumb 1-shot mechanic that you can't even react to...

At this point, the game is basically just roulette. On top of server lag, client crashes, and a myriad of bugs, there are also boss attack patterns, environmental hazards, and player defenses like block and dodge that are simply random. Sometimes, the game's RNG just rolls a combination of events that is mechanically impossible to react to. That makes knowledge, as well as skill irrelevant, and results in damage applied to the character that even the most defensive build (that's still at least somewhat fun to play) is incapable of surviving.

Yeah nah, quite why you eejits play the leagues is beyond me, spends 10s or hundreds of hours building a character that could be 1 shotted and deleted in a seconds, not for me that, i like to keep my sanity, staying firmly in standard thanyouverymuch
