He built an entire airship for a single tip, an insane one too. EDIT: Next building style? Not necessarily a style, but an idea I've been lacking the motivation and inspiration to tackle properly myself. Take one of the new, big, open caves (possibly even with a bunch of pillars) and build a village. Not a typical dwarven/underground village... but a village in the style of a jungle village in an underground/cavey/raviney block palette. I've wanted to build something like that since 1.16 came out in the basalt pillars biome. I feel like your flavor of creativity could come up with some insane stuff.
That airship was absolutely incredible. Found this video at the right time as friends and I started a Create mod server not too long ago, and you definitely gave some good tips on this one!
hey ma dude, actually what you are building is not steampunk and is a complete different style of building. Steampunk is the definition for a "Victorian Vision of the Future" therefore is in a victorian style comined with mostly a load of detail using a variation of mechanical components like cogwheels, flywheels etc. as well as clocks and gears and pipes. BUT in general copper is not used that much in such bulids, more common and right would be "Brass" wich is an compound of copper and Zink wich is widely used for clocks and mechanical parts in rel life. Steampunk as in the Nmae is powered by steam and nothing else. otherwise it will go more into the direction "Dieselpunk" that uses mostly fossil fuel sources like Gas, Diesel or sometimes coal. dieselpunk tho is more leaning into the times of the cold war and is consisting of more modern vehicles like plains and boats.
thank you for the clarification! i am definitely in the habit of using the word 'steampunk' as a blanket term for anything remotely similar to Victorian fantasy, industrial fantasy, etc. i'll def keep this in mind :)
You've inspired me to stay motivated in my Industrial Steampunk Project in Roblox. It's good to learn things from other game engines to apply to your building even on Roblox!
Great tips my guy! I've got a great steam punk robot that would make a great addition to your steampunk style! Maybe we could have a steampunk build battle one of these days eh
Ive only seen your other steampunk video and as someone who hasnt been keeping up with your content i was not ready for the step up you took on the airship build, great job!! really impressed with the improvement since that last video, definetly inspired to step up the factory Ive been building, thx:)
people have asked me for a tutorial on this airship and.....i'm still on the fence about it because it would be a LONG video but i'm def considering it!!
thank you!! glad to have you here :) i do have a schematic, it's in the description for this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_k9zErTcF8o.html i made a full tutorial for the airship as well, if you're interested 👀
thank you!! :) and trust me, it's tempting - but personally i don't really want to make a video just to game the algorithm. if i can come up with a fun idea behind one, i'll certainly make it, but i wouldn't want to force myself to make 100 Days, Manhunt, or other kinds of trending minecraft videos if i was only doing it for the views 👌
i've linked a world download in one of my Community posts, which should be this one: ru-vid.com/show-UCBDDDPa3UbxbbPIIeeEiHRwcommunity?lb=Ugkx7Pl-anBwZX55NArkZ7UJlE_t2mFOR_h6 enjoy!
check the description of the tutorial video i made for this airship: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_k9zErTcF8o.html&ab_channel=LeonSBU
@@LeonSBU If you make that massive video (or a few smaller ones in a series), I will watch it all and build it. Came to the comments to see if there was any possibility, hoping!
i can't do a tutorial for a really big build like this one unfortunately, BUT if you would like a world download i have one right here! 👇 ru-vid.com/show-UCBDDDPa3UbxbbPIIeeEiHRwcommunity?lb=Ugkx7Pl-anBwZX55NArkZ7UJlE_t2mFOR_h6
@@LeonSBU It was expected, it is divinely beautiful and complex, and I want to emphasize that in addition to your skills, you have a good "view" in building ;)
