I am the proud owner of the Bamboo GTR & the Carbon Hayden 2n1 . I must honestly say these boards are my favorite of all time. I admire the Precision and engineering that has gone into the development of these awesome e-boards . When it comes to the elite , Evolve is just that ! I have hundreds and hundreds of miles on mine and still feel that rush like the first time ripping it up on them. In fact I'm getting ready to go tear it up now ! thanks for the great tips .This a great video and thank you all at Evolve for the tips! keep up the great work !!! And Thank You!!

I’m in pretty much in all the evolve groups on Facebook. Mate all I hear and read is all the issues this brand has. When ever a new post is up it’s always got to do with issues about the remote disconnecting or the board has its own brain 🧠 and all of a sudden the board start accelerating out of no where !! Or the the motor is interfering with the deck whenever you take a turn. Iv never seen a brand with so much issues ! And this is coming from a person that owns an evolve. Think twice on buying an evolve

I'm 52 and I have never rode a skateboard in my life. I watched a lot of videos on riding and purchasing. Of course there are a lot of board companies out there, and they all say seem to have a problem with evolve. I would too, if I was competing against a company this good. I bought a Bamboo GTX last year because the new generation boards were on back order. I love the customer service and website for easy ordering of replacement parts. I may be old, but I do not ride like wimp. Evolve is all I need, thank you, have a nice day.

As a onewheel rider, i been looking to get into ek8 for mixup and this is so valuable for me to watch as I'm afraid it would be a step down! But it's just so different! Super excited to make a decision on a board soon!

Recently been skating on the bamboo, and so far can’t recommend it enough. The flexibility while carving is a must after playing with it.

You need the right bushings, the evolve ones are nothing compared to decent ones like riptide, which give amazing high speed stability and silky smooth carving. Self lubricating as well, so no dirt and grit getting trapped!

Coming from someone who never have ridden any board besides me friend on two occasion, you do not need any experience and it actually helps having your first as a e-board as you don't need to worry about shooting the board from under you and the breaking really helps as well.

Regards the bushings.... the performance bushings is absolutely the best upgrade I have made to my own Hadean, changes the confidence on the board especially for me as a heavier rider.

I just picked up my first evolve board 2 days ago from the store on the Gold Coast, it is the best thing since sliced bread I've put 25kms in it in the last 2 nights, think I will have to get different bushings because I'm running my trucks tighter than I want to to get stability which is definitely sacrificing my turning circle. Great video

We recommend going slow at the beginning as you learn, and you'll find as you get used to your board you won't need them so tight to remain stable.

Thinking about getting the Hadean but I’ve heard from multiple sources online that when the remote disconnects the wheels lock up? How true is this?

This is not true. We had a small number of boards that were losing power, although the concern had been identified and fixed so no need for worries with a new board!

Well put, and applies to almost every e-board. I never ran my Evolve GTX to 0% now I have one out of balance cell after one 150 charge cycles indicated. I charge on the standard charger 99% of the time. How can one self balance their cells. Bit unhappy as it cuts my range significantly... Will evolve ever offer an 18650 battery upgrade for the older boards?

Given the GTX was released 5 years ago the batteries will be starting to lose capacity now, but our team will be able to balance the pack if it's not too far out. You aren't able to update the battery alone to the GTR battery, as you'd need to swap the ESC, motors and remote also.

I have to apologize for the dog showing a Boo$ board. It was the first one I attempted. But I have to agree. I had zero experience of riding a skateboard until I purchased my GT. It’s and old model and I’m still loving it. Evolve has learned a lot from their first remote and battery system to where they are now. I’m just a casual EVOLVE skater. And I enjoy it immensely!

Just got a message the Hadeans got a recal conscerning battery/electronic compartent issues.😪 Hopefully i will get my board back when warmer wheather arrives. 😄
