Nevada lawmakers should be more responsible for their prime tourist industry shenanigans. Simply refusing to go to Las Vegas rip-off city is a way I avoid these fees
A friend of mine just got back from Vegas, four days, $4000. This is with room and meals and all of the dang fees. I visited Vegas in 2016, and I said I would never go back there again, and I kept my word. Overpriced and too many fees.
When we first started going to Las Vegas it was not expensive. Stayed for one week at the Mirage Hotel and Steve Wynn picked up our flight. Used to have great meal deals. If you're going to Las Vegas stay at a locals hotel.
I can almost picture going to the bathroom in one of those establishments and having a guy at the door collecting a fee for doing number one and double for number two. That's when I'll check Vegas off of my go to list.
In Europe, they've been doing this forever. The person isn't even working for the facility in many cases and gives you exactly one square of toilet paper and blocks your way in/out of the restroom
@@gigi9301 My son and his wife live in VEGAS. It's really crazy how everyone is trying to rip you off in any way they can so they don't have to get a job and work 43 years like I did. And EUROPE is just as bad too as you say.
The casinos will know when they've gone overboard on fees when people start going elsewhere. Then it may be too late. It has gotten too expensive getting to Vegas just to lose money.
You’re far more diplomatic than I. I stay at the Marriott Grand Chateau. I love the place. I don’t have time or the interest in scanning a restaurant’s menu for fine print which may or may not disclose a fee. I ask the server directly. If I don’t like what I hear, I pick up my tired old ass and leave. No one is forcing you to stay at hotels if you don’t like their policies. No one is forcing you to eat at Blondie’s. Vote with your wallet. Until enough folks, collectively, cause a significant drop in revenue for these businesses, it won’t change._
Hi Tanya and Dave, Thanks so much for sharing this pertinent infirmation! You guys are the best! TO THE BEST COUPLE IN THE WORLD! 🌍 from Tricee in Virginia Beach, Virginia ⛱️⛱️⛱️
I noticed Ole Red has an entertainment fee. It is in small print on the menu. I didn't think to ask to have it removed. Whenever I eat at Cabo Wabo I always ask for the CNF fee to be removed and it's never been a problem.
Someday they’ll reach a tipping point where Vegas will be unaffordable for the average person and slowly people will stop coming. Then and only then will Vegas Casinos start to reduce or eliminate fees altogether. It’s a greedy money grab no matter what you call it.
These sneaky fees are the reason why I would rather go to a local casino near my home and get comp rooms with no resort fees and no taxes, sure it’s not the glitz and glam of Vegas, but at least I don’t have to give up a kidney to enjoy my self. Corporate Greed.
Business must be very good since they are so comfortable tipping off their customers. They used to have a lock on gambling, but now you can gamble all over the country. Vegas is not special anymore.
The employee benefits fee is insidious because the owners make crazy amounts of money already and adding that fee makes it seem like it's employees asking for the bare minimum benefits are what drove up pieces, when the owners could always afford the benefits, theyre just greedy and dont wanna pay
If everyone deducted the employer fee and other fees restaurants charge from the tip, that'll get the waiters and waitresses to complain to management and maybe change the policy.
What the 🤬. Soon people will just visit Vegas and leave after gambling and eating because here comes the speed train from L.A to Vegas...let's see what they do then...
If u bring an animal with u when trying to stay at a Motel or Hotel is there fees? Like a cat or dog. And do any of the Motels or Hotels have a no pets policy?
How long is it going to be before casinos start to charge for a clean air filtration fee to breath cleaner air from smoke infested casinos. These fees are ridiculous and its only going to get worse. I know the simple answer is that we have the choice to go where we want but as other casinos adopt the same policies it gets to the point where people will eventually look elsewhere for gambling. More and more states are loosening their gambling laws, look at Council Bluffs Iowa, they have 6 casinos all within 10 minutes. Colorado and South Dakota have old mining towns that have been converted to gambling towns with lots of different casinos.
That's insane all those fees, definitely makes me not to go back and visit. The worst on is that one for employees healthcare cheap ass owners not paying a living wage with benefits. Also, have you guys noticed these been getting worse because of the sports leagues in town now? Wonder if that's a reason for increases as well.
@@rpiazzaok. Will do. I live 30 minutes from one of the top rated casinos in the country. And guess what, your dumpster fire of a city that is built on tourism will start raising taxes on dopey locals like you
I dont think having a players club card and offering to waive a talking to a live person fee because you have one is doing you any favor what so ever...Same thing with parking fees.....More like just stroking ya so they can keep their rewards and stroke someone else that doesnt mind it, thats not us....The minute i ask if you have this fee and they confirm they do......CLICK !!!! See ya !!!! The minute they confirm they have resort fees.....CLICK !!!! See ya !!!! As far as any fee on my dinning bill .....NOPE, will get up and walk out, you would be wise to make that bet....I once had a waiter show up with our drinks at a restaurant, as he was setting the drinks down he said that it was policy that i could not wear a hat at the table....Told him with your prices , im going to spend close to 2 C-notes here and your going to tell me how to dress ???? He says he dont make the policy ....Told the wife get up, lets go...Waiter says i need to pay for the drinks first...You can bet where i told him to stick that idea....Then i told him shoulda said something before you took our order and ya wouldnt have this problem....See ya !!!! ...Bottom line is last couple yrs we have solved the Vegas fee thing by taking the motorhome to Vegas instead and staying at Sams Town KOA....Made RV park reservations at Grand Sierra Resort in Reno , they said there was a resort fee for RV staying....Stayed the one night we arrived , cancelled the other 3 and moved on to the KOA at Boomtown instead...I aint paying these fees no matter what....Funny thing about that is our $$$$ spends every last bit as well some place else where they dont play these games and welcome you instead of trying to gouge you ....And thats where we will spend it....I will pass on any hotel with fees, i dont care how nice it is, Will pass on any show with fees....EVERYTIME.....Just not into giving our money away for no reason with NOTHING IN RETURN.....
Just imagine! The audacity of an establishment to ask you remove your hat at the table? Yes, they ARE telling you how to dress because obviously you are utterly clueless. What trailer park were you raised in? By all means, take your godawful manners and stay in your trailer. Although I gotta say I agree with you regarding fees. At least you’re proactive enough to not patronize those places eager to exploit you.
What happen to Vegas 🥲 Everything on the strip was so cheap because they wanted to lure you onto the strip, once they started charging to valet I was done with the strip and Lordy Lordy it has just gotten worse, thanks for the video
Good info I recently went to Vegas and yeah parking is crazy and resort fees of course 40-50$ night it’s crazy if you don’t even use pool or exercise room
