Insightfull video! The only thing I think can be misleading is tieing focal length to type of photography. This was actually one of the things limited me in the beginning. Every focal length can be used in any type of photography. It's all about the effect you want to create. Of course certain effects are more used in different types, but don't limit yourself to certain type of focal lengths. Landscape/nature can be all kinds of focal lengths (just as the video said). Wildlife too, it's often very hard to come close enough to the subject though.
Oh comeon the wobble is terrible. If you do not notice it yourself I really question if you edit your own video nor review it... I don't want to be the crybaby but I truely want to help you. If your channel was about baking bread, I want you to not make kind of meh pieces of bread. You are hurting your credibility by not fixing these quite major issues on your video quality. Which sucks cause the rest of the video is great and fun to watch, but how are you seriously trying to convince me to believe things you say about camera stuff if your own video's are suffering from their own problems...

Easy to fall into some of these mistakes in the beginning, not telling a story is my favourite one!
Why everything built in old times, using simple tools and tech is1000x more beautiful, natural and liveable than modern city concrete or suburban crap?
I tend to worry more about the background in my photo than the light (when shooting portraits) I'm training myself to rather focus on letting the light hit my subject where it is flattering to them, and not just having a good background with bad lighting... :)
Suddenly i found your channle and kept watching 😅😅 cant stop, your colour grading is the best thing in your channel with your face in the video🤧🤧 And last thing that i am going to buy canon M-50 mark 2. It this a good camera to invest and if not please tell me some alternative within this range for image and good quality video.🙃🙃🙃🙃❤️❤️
IBIS IS FOR SURE TERRIBLE ON VIDEO. You can see it all the time. So i heard that it is enough to use rf lens and on lens turn off IS. It should disable IBIS
i think wobbles comes by the way you handling the camera,. wobbles disappeared when your walking or etc. it becomes so apparent when you stay in one position but your hand is so shakey,. try to speak without shakey hand,.
Hey matte i relly liked the vids and you are doing a great job! But if i could make a litle remarque, your color grading is a bit off. Maybe les saturation and fix rhose skim tones😉.
using stab in post makes it worse dont use it mate or just buy a lumix :) btw nice content ... i just watched it as a podcast hehe really wobble mate :) peace
I’ve got a R6 with a rf 24-105 f4 that sits at the front door so I have something even if I’m just running out for a quick trip somewhere. It’s my “runround” kit
Hi Anthony, great video. You've talked about cropping, now this is something I'm experiencing difficulties with at times. What I mean is that I not always see the perfect way to crop images. My photo's aren't bad, but I'm sure I could do a lot better cropping and removing some unnecessary static in the frame. So.... I was wondering, is this by any chance a subject you're willing to explain / give your pro tips about? Thanks and happy shooting :)
