Well said!! There is always a conflict of interest between traders and prop firms! You guys should boycott the ones having Equity/trialling based DD, also the ones having DD higher or equal the profit target.

Well said! I think some of the scummy props using trailing drawdowns are bad. If all take profits and stop loss was balanced based, then it wouldn't be unfair. I'll be sticking the top 5 props that have been around long for years. The bad ones they take advantage of us traders too often.

Damm brother thank you! I just pass 5 challenge's with Apex. I cancelled all 5 of them! I sacrificed $100 my initial account activation fee was $160 each account. With the B.S they just pulled on like 4k accounts nit picking with you didn't do this or that. FT! Im going to see what Top step is about they have a end of the day draw down. Apex time is limited! They will be the first future prop firm to go down!

I started in options so no prop firms. I am in futures now and trade my own account but I want to take advantage of the leverage prop firms offer. However, each time I read through their policies, I get turned off and say forget it because my trading style is similar to yours. I don't like giving money to the market let alone a prop firm but I still want to try it but I don;t know if I actually will ever do it.Thank you for this video!

Apex messed me up with the way they count the drawdown. I had a trade go $500 into profit and I got out breakeven so I had to keep in mind I was down $500 even though I wasn’t. It messed with my psychology and I ended up losing the account. They know how to get in our heads even more than the market already does

@Waqar, which prop firm do you recommend based on all the information you’ve provided. This is really powerful information. I remember with MFF I experienced an equity draw down on my first account and never understood how I lost it. But after I understood the rules that’s when I started making weekly withdrawals since I had 2 accounts. But everything you’ve said makes complete sense.

I hope there will be more posts like this because these companies have no regulations and they literally steal peoples time and money!!!

Funding pips and instant funding are great

I grew my funded 11% and there was some volatility in London and I lost 5% and hit my daily drawdown even though I was still overall profitable in the account. I was so bummed, but now I pay extra attention to that rule.

whatever you have discussed, its only 1 firm that fits all the criteria and thats FTMO which is been around since 2015 with regular payouts.

Now you need to singular channel thats TOT ❤

Exactly it's all about buying challenges and creating rules that real traders couldn't possibly follow. Example I traded my evaluation account and blew that but on my live account I made 4.8% on that day. So me careful. One firm wants you to hold a trade for a minimum 1 minute. Christ I can make 5 trades in a minute. Slippage. Oh boy. Watch that game. Forget their practice account definitely not indicative to your evaluation account. You Slippage You a good job on this video and I hope many find this. Prop firms are a new way to print money. Beware

Finding out that fundingpips had equity based DD after getting the master account was my biggest heaartbreak this year. Literally lost my master account at 2% DD. After trading it from February to June.

the way i see it despite knowing that all of it is sim is that the company trusted me first to make profit on a 100k account and risked their own money of 10k. Now you made 110k and the drawdown goes to 100k, now the company saved their risk and every risk is my own now. Which means if i go up to 120k profit. My drawdown stays on 100k which i think is fair
