Kenya is home to 64 lakes and the nation contains 9.5% of Africa's lakes. Some Kenyan lakes have hot, boiling water, like Lake Bogoria. Kenya has an almost cashless economy. Sending money is as quick as sending an SMS. The Matatu culture is unique in the whole world. Kenyan's incorporate art, music & public travel. Kenyan roads are very modern and developed. Kenyan tech ecosystem is among Africa's top 3 according to "Africa : The Big Deal" Kenya is building a smart city called Konza, A medical city called Mwale Medical & Technology City, and Nairobi Railway City (Inside Nairobi). Kenya's future is bright.

Your swahili accent is already there...you're halfway there. Also you can start with Nairobi national park. Right in the middle of the city. Just get a car and you can drive yourself around. Secondly kenya has beautiful highlands that mainly grow tea, makes an awesome Sunday afternoon drive.

Heey, I'm glad you're enjoying your stay in Kenya. Karibu sana. At 3:10 when you started talking about security, yes it's true that there's some level of security but you still have to be careful, be aware of your surroundings & be street smart in Nairobi. There are still pickpocketers & even armed robbers though they're almost immediately dealt with. Other than that, Nairobi is awesome

With all these beautiful things listed I wonder why I never visited that country. I saw a video of their road networks, it was amazing. Kenya is on my bucket list. I am just happy for some of these African countries with working government. Before I forget, you are so beautiful!

English is Kenya's official language and kiswahili is a national language. But Kenyans also have another 3rd mostly spoken language by Kenyan youth, its called 'SHENG' a combination of Kiswahili and English, One example Is " Hawesmake" HAWESI is a Kiswahili word meaning "CAN'T" 'MAKE' is an English word, So it's combination means "CAN'T MAKE' . Sheng is a common language among Kenyan youth and urban population.

Hi Gina, Kenyans in general don't like chillies/hot pepper/pepe. But we use lots of spices and herbs - like ginger, garlic, coriander/dhania, turmeric, Bell pepper etc. These we use fresh and ground, you'll find lots of ground spices in shops and supermarkets- try them in your food, you'll enjoy them

yes kenya has over 40 national parks and game reserves. Nairobi is the smallest while Tsavo national park is the biggest, maasai mara is the famous. You wont complete exploring them

Another very nice video... We are now feeling spoilt ooooh! Anyway, yes Kenya is a good place and its people are nice too, although it does not mean there are no challenges! A good support system from local friends will teach you what not to do and where to avoid! Mpesa is the best innovation so far in Kenya, I forgot about carrying a wallet! There are scammers anywhere in this world, lets be honest! You are Learning very quickly though, impressive! We hope there won't be a "character development session" soon but when it happens take it positively and share with us we have fun! That is how we survive here and move on! KiSwahili is the National language, English is official, Swahili both official & National... Sheng is a street language....mainly embraced by the youth.... It varies in every generation AND zones.... and is in a continuous change AND metamorphosis depending on the zone and the lack of fluency of both proper English & KiSwahili and is heavily influenced by vernacular or tribal influence dominant in a geographical locality ..... you are likely to encounter such an experience.....

You brothers they no de let us rest ooohhh, so we must be careful. Yes we go out Wednesdays is Ladies night, Thursday is jamzation reggae music and Friday members day we all go out. Sunday with families we eat out ...and Saturday either you go out like couple or you with your friends and hubby with his friends
